Im going out of town for a week. thinking I dont want to leave the lights on without me becasue of temps and plants drying out ect.. so wondering if lightout for a week is gonna be bad
leave the light off for a week?

I don't know if you have a timer or not, but if you don't, you should really get one.
and if you have one and you're still concerned about the temps and plants dying out, make sure to take care and over-water them before you leave, make sure temp will be good, keep a fan on circulating air at all times. If you're still worried, run the lights for less time during the day, but don't leave it off for a week!!

with no light for a week they will start to flower and then die because a solid week with no light or water will kill them you should get a timer it is only like 10,15 bucks

i dont WANT TO KILL THEM!
plants are a month old and under 600watt hps on a timer. temps get up to 90's and higher with door shut. and all week with door shut means no beuno

I think a timer, and cfl's is a decent way to try to keep from total loss

Yeah recently I had to be gone for 3 full days, my plants were about a month old. I made sure to water real good before I left & left the 400w hps on a timer. When I got back 3 days later, I thought all my plants were about ready to die! Dried up like mad, and temps are around 80-85 with 40-50% humidity.
So yeah, one week without light or water = death = no weed = no smoke = depression.

if your doin soil put light on timer give heavy water leave for week say your prayers hope they look good when you get back. good luck to all your grows
