I really hope Psuagro supplements with some white. If I were using that panel, I would buy two 1ft 4000k t-5 strip lights and mount them to the walls of a small cabinet with the Led's on top. What like 16 additional watts? I think Han's panel shows a lot of promise, but having a small amount of the mid band spectra really helps with general photonic absorption. There are is much more at work in a fruiting plant than just chlorophyll. If we were growing grass, that would be a different story.

If he makes a new light someday, I would assume that he would just replace the blues with 6500k whites, nearly as efficient and still producing enough mid band to help the plant make secondary hormones and chemicals. I don't pretend to know everything, but, after being circle jerked around by my Spectras, enough is enough, I need grow logs that show the results that the manufacturer claims. Even then they can be fake, falsified, or maybe even lacking info, Irishboy was a large disappointment.

NASA tests showed better growth when a small amount of mid-band nm were introduced. That wasn't with Cannabis, but I would expect even more complex behavior from a dioecious plants, rather than grasses and lettuce. Meaning that just straight chlorophyll stimulation is not always enough.

Although I have yet to test it, I am under the belief that the lower the NM, the closer to the walls it should be, plants receive a large amount of blue light as it bounces off our atmosphere, is it crazy to assume that building extremely low wattage blues on or into the walls to supplement a largely red/white main light would produce a growth type similar to outdoors? I don't think so. I can't think of who it is, but there is a guy on RIU who put the UV-b reptile bulbs on his walls for the UV, but he also inadvertently was surrounding his plants with a light blue light, while the HPS rained down its 2700k shine down from on high.

Vinika,
If you plan on copying his designs, at least make the changes that anyone in the industry would now suggest. These are just my opinions, take them as such, but I have been around.
