1. Once again another person naturally assuming everything stems from America, this forum is on the internet, that means you will interact with people from all over the world which means what applies to you does not apply to others so some of us are in fact subjected to FLIR cameras without warrant constantly.

2. The people who are trying to figure LED out are smaller growers who understand seemingly better than you do that LED may well be a better solution for their OWN smaller grow. None of them have stated clearly that it is a commercial replacement.

3. You best be more accurate with your pictures you throw up, if you are implying some of those pics are 18 days of flower then you should show more or do more to prove that claim cause till then I call bullshit on that.

Prove it further and I will happily acknowledge it....

thank you NWI took the words right outta my mouth. to DrFever, where i live cops have been convicted of murder, robbery, corruption, and the list goes on. i have actuallly witnessed with my own eyes cops beating people up and turn around and charge em with resisting and assault on police. IME 90% of cops are crooked and if you think differently then you need to get out of wonderland and get in touch with reality.

edit: i would also like to say that not only cops are corrupted, but judges, congressmans, governors and even senators have been convicted of corruption in my state.

again this is just an example im sure you could get an even cheaper shittier hps system online or where ever but it would probly burn your house down or some shit lol and you could get a cheaper led system but i wouldnt recomend it as it would probly blow goats.

hps systems just cause so much god damn heat its crazy and that is the cause of most odor problems as well i use one small honey well fan in my 4x4x6 tent and leave the door open for airflow as well as a window in the room and that is it as far as heat control / airflow. oh and i have a bunch of ONA blocks around in the room for added odor control but not even that necessary and they cost ten bucks a pop and work great!!!

6" grow bright fan 424cfm and 6" for $100. 6" grow bright booster fan 180 to 250cfm $25.

25' insulated ducting from home deps $25.

that's $450. a 1/3 of what a quality led costs. i average 2.5 lbs of better quality than any dispensary under one 1000 with a home made co2 mix

if you run a 1000 on a 240 v it cuts the heat in half and dropping the watts by 36 watts.

im not knocking led's. you're just wrong on pricing

upon further research you appear to be the one that is wrong on pricing couldnt find your setup for less than 600 anywhere and you forgot about the charcoal filter which would be another 150 or so add that on top and anyone can see that it works out to be much more than 300 dollars brosif again these are just examples i found maybe someone else can shut me down haha. and to begin with i wasnt talking about matchng a 600w hps or a 1000w i was talkin about a 400w system. a 600w or 1000w system would cost way more than what your talkin you would need more shit like suplimental fans for air intake and exhaust (just one extra) and small floor fans and such.

have you ever actually bought from a hydro shop in person? It's like a car dealership you never pay the listed price. you have to hustle a little. The price online and the price in the shop are 2 different prices..

Spartan (german company) similar to yield master. - $70

!000 watt quantum ballast - $140. it was priced at $189. I know 4 different shops that have it at that price

1000 watt eye hortilux - $66 it was priced at $133.95

there are so many shops that they want your business. It's a buyers market. If they won't hook it up, go somewhere else. Always go to a high volume shop never mom n pop shop. They buy in extreme bulk and they are able to negotiate

Also me n my buddy went in together and got 3 of those lights and a lot of other shit so that helped the hustle.

I don't use a charcoal filter because I only vent the light and bring in air. I don't have a separate exhaust. just co2 and a/c. I ordered the fans at htg. htg sellstheir tall boy filter for 99.95.

the shops i go to they don't even have near half the inventory on their web site. also there is a small shop around the corner, they sell fox farm ocean forest for $18 and i tried to get them to lower the price but they wouldn't so I went to the shop where I got my lights, 30 minutes away because they sell the soil for 13. they are high volume. another shop i visit. they make their own hoods and ballasts and they make digilux bulbs. they said quantum is cheaper and better than their ballast. My point is you can get awesome deals if you know how to negotiate.

keep your receipts. when you go back they have to give you that price and you can go to other shops and get price match


another example, i know a shop that sells 8 bulb badboy's cheaper than anyone. for 2 bills, but on their e bay store they sell it even cheaper with free shipping and i got them to hook up the ebay price out the door in person

colorado, oregon, iowa, maryland, michigan, arizona, pennsylvannia. those states, i know for fact have shops every where too. i know thats a small portion.. if you live somewhere else you can call those shops, they will discount huge just because of shipping costs.

just becuase you do in fact live in cali with alot of shops dosent mean you are hustling them you said it your self their everywhere and have to sell at low rates for that reason up here in canada hydro shops are nothing like a car dealership .....there like a hydroponics shop. there just like any other business but they are quite popular up here and have lots of business so they will just laugh at you and sell it to the next guy unless your maybe making a large purchase but ya we are on the interweb here bro so different all over the world

when i was in Abbotsford the shops were the same as here actually things were a little cheaper since the shops there were much larger and more of them.. considering this forum is based in the U.S. and the majority of people on here are from cali, oregon, colorado, and arizona. most seed company owners are originally from cali, oregon, and mass. what i say applies to most of the people on here and if you actually read the whole post instead of cherry picking I SAID YOU CAN CALL.
