I spilled a vodka and cranberry in my laptop a few years ago.... Still works luckily...

The GLH website is out of date, and the guy is getting a new one built right now, and he'll have a forum too.

Best bet is to call him, or email him.

*checking them .. fock. got ice cream on my laptopn.. SOB

The glh website has been in bad shape for the entire year so far. I emailed them back in march asking what the deal was and they said they were working on it and it would be up soon. Then I heard after the new lights came out, then the new new lights came out and still no changes. I think not keeping his website up to date is terrible business practice. A good developer can build a better website than his in less than a day and making minor changes is no big task, so there's absolutely no excuses.

I do believe it is hurting business for him. I could build a website in like 2 hours.

Apparently he hired some guy to do it like 6 months ago, and the site is supposed to be pretty nice. But 6 months.... Me and one other person built a forum, took our time doing it, and got done in 2 months.

cannawizard if you want to pop your led cherry so to speak there are two companys you should be looking at and two only. Dont have too much money? Go with a blackstar, Want the best quality light with the best warranty and hardware quality you go Kessil. Everyone elses stuff is overpriced for panels and no one else has anything to match kessils technology, so its basically if you want bang for the buck RIGHT NOW or if you want a lil more over time. Blackstar uses more power costs a bit less for the same coverage area, kessils use WAAY WAAY less power than any other led out there for the sheer output they put out and will take a bit more time to recoup initial cost because they cost more than blackstars, the plus is less power usage and a better quality light with more penetration and modularity.

However your remark about making zillions not making you pro is a little wishy washy, all the guys i speak of that are doing it with big setups are pumpin out quality dank at least as good as what i pump out on a regular basis. They have to work harder and have employees sometimes to get my quality but they do it. That makes them pro man, lol they making $$$$$$$$$$ and pumpin out stuff that i charge a premium for if i move any because i dont sell and my budz are extrememly high quality because all i do is care for them EVERY day ALL DAY

*forget the whole being 'pro' comment i dropd,... i was prolly sober and had no coffee in my system when i said that.. so if i offended any 'pros'.. then i apologize :)

--i think.. what i was trying to get at w/ the whole 'pro' thing was.. ppl shouldn't base being a 'pro' on the size or scale of their OPs (ex: how much they produce per cycle).. it should be based on QUALITY of the product.. :).. imho

--you can pump metric tons of ganja, but if your pumping out ('not potent' toxic trash) just to make a profit (which is the 'zillions' remark) --then.. No, i dont feel you should be called a 'pro'.. thats not what 'pros' do.. ;)

--cheers

PS..
thnx for the info on the LEDs , gonna look into those mentioned (blackstar-Kessil)

ah yes that makes much sense sir, i wouldnt call my buddies pro even if they pumped out the same amount and it was crap either, like ya said you can be pro and only grow one plant a season or you can be pro and grow a couple thousand. you just gotta make em dank if you wanna be called pro =) toxic trash no one deserves good sir. I joined in the new party cup thread now. loved the old one.

I am personally holding off until plasma lighting becomes cost effective enough to implement into a non-commercial setting. The current models run off a 375watt microwave emitter that excites the tic-tac sized bulb that puts out just under 16,000 watts of HID lighting. Currently, they are prices quite high, but they are hitting the consumer market Q1 of next year. Gotta get some......

plasma is interesting but too new still and i had bad luck with my plasma induction i bought it burnt out over night i had to manually fire it every morning the timer wouldnt turn it on. Kessil makes units the chip goes in an h150 which covers a 2ft circle and the h350 covers a 4x4 area. Those claims i would say are blown out of proportion by about a half square foot. Dont listen to the kessil haters in the other LED thread talkn about them burning out they dont and if they do they stand behind their product. I've purchased 4 my friends have gotten some as well i think between all of us we own about 15 of the older style h150 magenta's and we have not had a single one burn out.

With all due respect to kap kron, based on what I've seen around, blackstars are "decent" lights at best, and only because of their pricing. Out of the blackstars amth kessils, go kessil for sure. I think I recommended the advanced leds to you already, so I won't beat you over the head with them, but be sure keep them near the top of your list.
