Define all this.

I know how you feel though, theres a lot to take in starting out with this. I was completely lost when i started out
Never mind... I'll just continue to be an observer... It's too much to take in at such a late stage... If it works for you then it SHOULD work for me...

Exactly the same thing with LEDs, but a qb has to be turned all the way up to feel that type of heat though right???
Sorry frank didnt mean anything bad, just not sure of what "all of this" youre refering to. Id dont mind explaining but maybe not on this thread as its someones growlog. Link the posts and send me a pm and ill have a go at explaining or linking you someones explanation.

Hey, nothing to apologize Frank! You haven't posted anything the least bit offending here :D

I'm just learning all this stuff. I couldn't find much information on exactly the type of setup I decided to build. The regular quantum boards are much smaller sources of light and behave a little differently. So I want to somewhat understand what I'm doing. I'm an information sponge anyway and continuously stuff my head with all kinds of things.

The leds are so spaced out on these boards that there really is not much heat to feel. At the max power my drivers produce a board gets ~80watts and my hand can cover perhaps 15% of a board. So only like 12 watts worth hits it. And a lot of the heat is evaporated through the backs of the boards so really it's much less than 12w of heat that I can feel when I put my hand under the leds.

Day 18. Budding is on it's way and everything seems fine. All four plants grow quite differently. At the moment I'm really liking the way #1 grows.

^#1 streches, but nice ammount of budsites and very airy structrure.

IMG_20191210_162653.jpg
^ #2 is by far the strechiest of lot. I've had to raise all the others to even out the canopy.

#3 is a bush. Second tallest, but much bushier than #1 or #2

IMG_20191210_162846.jpg

#4 is the squat one. Much shorter than the others. Very bushy and budsites all the way down.

^ Look how tiny #4 is. They are numbered in order left to right.

^ upskirt #1

I removed most of the lower growth on #3 and #4. They were growing way too thick down there. I think it was a little late to be removing so much growth, but it had to be done.

Tiny #4.

#3

I made cannabutter using the leaves and budsites I stripped from the plants. I've only had two small joints during the last month and half of the butter got me quite high indeed :)

Day 23. Strech is done and should be entering the Boring Phase next.

#2 & #3 switched places for better light penetration. They should all be switching places so all could enjoy the hot spot in the middle, but they are difficult to fit in there so I haven't bothered.

#1 looking beautiful and many buds forming.

IMG_20191215_162653.jpg
#2 is the strechy girl.

IMG_20191215_163123.jpg
#2 main top. I think my clones from #2 are going to fail. Her stem was a little woody and I should've been more careful.

Blast from the past:
These are the Kalicahakras from my first ever grow three weeks into flower
