I have heard of this before but didn't know if it was true. Any guidelines as to how one does this??

I would love to know.
keep the bud submerged in a mason jar filled with distilled or RO water with an open top (or lots of big holes in the lid), do not let bud breach surface of water (perhaps bend straws and place them around the top to keep bud from floating up) change water out once every 12 or 24 hours for 7 days. Attempt to be gentle when pouring water out of and into the jars so as not to knock trichomes off the bud

Nice. I had messed up a grow like 4 years back and didn't flush properly. I should of tried it then.

Thanks for the easy walk thru, sound simple enough. +Rep

Some are getting super cropped unwillingly, had one free baby bud fall so another tester only the size of a golf ball but a tester never the less YUM. Even after the pull down there are still tops within a inch of the panel with a lot of leaf tips bleached directly under the center of the SCROG. Micro scope shows red veins and milky tops on the tester bud and there are still a crap load of hairs coming out and new flowers under the canopy growing out of the main plant stalks. I think you need at least three feet of height for the BS 240/150 panels IMO.:wall:

Well, I went ahead and ordered a couple of 240 blackstar flowering models. They are still backordered but they should have them by monday. I've been happy with my 2 blackstar veg models so I decided to stick with them. Since they moving so fast I couldn't really get a discount besides free shipping. Oh well..

I never could get a response from the people who make ISIS lights so fuck 'em.

Damn I could do a side-by-side of 2 blackstar veg/2 blackstar flower vs 400w mh veg/hps flower. I do have two tents... It will be a couple months before I can do something like this though. I have to finish my current cycles. I need to buy a couple more veg models for mothers...

Well then something fishy is going on there.
I second that... Doubt 1w would be bleaching at that distance but who knows, maybe they are like 15° lens angle.... I've run my lights closer than that with no bleaching at all and my lights are 2w and 90°

yea they got lenses in them they say intense as sunlight a foot away due to lenses
I wonder when a clip on full magnification lens will show on the market that we can clip onto the panels as most are the same size? We would all end up with dried bud a bit early I bet.

No flush = just fine. I wouldn't go about a water cure for that. I never flush and it has produced amazing buds and amazing flavors with great smoke. Give it a shot.

Ok guys A tragedy just occurred 30 minutes ago. My 100w unit fell onto my low performer plant and I was forced to cut the main cola and a few side buds. I think I will water cure this bud because it was never flushed and was receiving lots of nutes. Idk what to do with this bowl full of sugar leaves though. I will post pics of the massacre when I get home.
