What health Canada did was criminal and people will get hurt as a result.
With that said, anyone who feels that they were outed beyond the mail man should put their shoulders back and keep their chin up and be proud not embarrassed about taking your health into your own hands. The fact it took the government to out you and not a neighbour who smelled you is also something to also take pride in. What choices do you have with your community now, you might as well represent the movement, now that you have nothing to lose.
And with that said, don't let your own paranoia get the best of you. Was your mail man even paying attention that day? In my community I could ask, does anybody even care that I grow? Other things you might consider is that your personal grow is probably pretty small and black market prices are at a historic low, making you a less than ideal target for rippers. Keep the timing on your crop a better secret than normal, it will also make it hard for the rippers. The public also has a very short memory when it comes to these indiscretions.
Are the police somehow mass compiling addresses from the mail, ready for April 1? The Americans know all the details with their NSA capabilities, do they share that info with Canada"s law enforcement?
Without actual evidence that someone knows, not just "in the eyes of the people", probably best just to keep your head down, but if really outed remember that you are representing us all.
