I think those rebels are not organized enough so Gaddafi could still take it all back.
The news was there would be a continued bombing of Gadaffi's army where possible.

We dont have boots on the ground except that we do...
We are now killing Libyan rebels in friendly fire situations based on a UN mandate to protect Libyan citizens. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet?
And to continue to protect Libyan citizens, we are going to give a bunch of people we really dont know, heavy weapons to engage in a civil war? This is going to protect citizens how?
The current plan seems to be prayer... We are praying that someone offs Kadafi. Otherwise, someone's boots are going to have to be on the ground and Obama is going to have to go to congress and appropriate more money for a war effort he claims is not occurring.
But I am sure that the world sleeps safer at night knowing that our military objective does not include actually targeting the madman that is causing the slaughter and the requirement for the whole no fly zone and intervention in the country in the first place.
