Light and water

Hi there, watering should be done to a schedule, mj loves a solid routine just make sure you give a wet and dry period. once the top soil is dry stick your finger in about an inch if its dry then water it evenly then keep to the schedule. eg 500ml every 2 days, morning is best time to water. also keep ur light up to 1 foot away from plant a general rule of thumb is to put ur hand just above the gal and if its discomfort to u then it will be to ur plant. dont over/under water her and like i said try to stick to a schedule of wet and dry periods. good luck and a prosperous harvest to you

you water the plants when they need it and u put the light as close as you can...............................that doesnt sound helpful does it?!
basically with watering u water your plant until sum run off comes out and u leave it it until its dry, they way to gauge this is by lifting the plant pot up and feeling the weight of it, if its heavy the soil has still got water in it, if its light it doesnt. i find every 2 to 3 days is about the usual , 3 days in younger plants normally. as for the light there is only one basic rule , you put your hand at the top of your plants and pull the light down until its a pleasantly warm heat on your skin, if its burning your hand its too close, if you cant feel it its too far away, usually your talking about 12" to 18" away. the space between the top of your canopy and the light is ideal too have afan blowing thru it, this allows the light a little closer and cuts down on the possibility of burning, strengthens your plant by resistance(like lifting weights at the gym) and helps air flow around your grow reducing the likelihood of mould, mildew, bug infestation and all sorts of shit. hope that helps

btw DONT buy hydro testers to check how much water is in your pot there fucking useless, you WILL learn it within a cpl of weeks.

What Dura72 said, except I have found that the plants can take more heat than your hand can. Keep that light as close as is possible.
