Light Bleaching under LEDs.

Are the problem plants the same strain?
Some like a particular nutrient schedule and you can run into trouble feeding them all exactly the same.
16 or so strains total. Worst discoloration is ALWAYS directly under the lights, no matter the strain. In a bit i plan to go get pictures of 3 of the Strawberry Garys, I have 2 with bad red/yellow. one on the outside that looks pretty normal..

Again im not saying its the only issue, or even the Main issue. Only that I being here physically, seeing the room layout, watching the room develop this problem, can see that the worst of the discoloration Is Always Worst Right Under the lights. I suppose the lights are just exacerbating other issues. perhaps light stress is amplified by Deficicencies and lockouts.

This is just one factor among a few it looks like. thanks for the input still. I appreciate the good, bad, and entertaining.[/QUOTE]

Equipment failures happen. I guess one of my first questions would be ... why did he have you send them into flower so early? I mean.. what is that plant,... like 14 inches tall?
We flowered them early since we were tight on vertical space, the lights are up as high as they can be and the table bolsters the plants up pretty high. I did a good bit of training and supercropping before the flip to keep them low. We are only in modified shipping containers right now, space is extremely tight. We have a big main building that is still 6 months at least from finish. The plan was SOG style, lots of smaller plants. All this was to get an idea of what to move forward with strainwise, next run 2-3 strains max.

Hopefully by then our RO water issue is better, our well water comes out around 3.6 last time i checked it before RO.

We will have to have the AC issues straight by then. Next Run I will also have the experience from this tough run.

Last thing im posting on the light issue until this experiment runs a while. There seems to be plenty of other issues to talk about.

I have a hand full of strawberry garys, one has been on the outside away from the lights, I am posting it and a couple of its sisters. these plants are on the same res, same temps, same strain, same nutes. The only difference i can make is that its placement WAS on the side. I have moved it to the middle now. I will watch and see if any issues develop, I do love a good science experiment. As a control, i will NOT move a Sex On The Beach that is green on the outside.

Will likely post some earlier pics from this grow too in another post. just for more background. I think i have some pics of when i first started noticing the yellowing too.

A picture of the empty room after i got it all together. Some early shots of some before they went bad. And some of the yellowing right when it started (pic was 4/6). last picture is a Shockwave on 4/15, now its very red/purple. looked nicer then. I should have a PAR meter in the next couple days as well.

When i got out here for this job (Mid October), there was only the Mother Container. I took another Empty shipping container; framed it out, sheet rocked, epoxy on the floor, paint/trim, made the table, took clones, eventually got running water ran from the well into the flower container. Its kinda all on me over here, and i dont much mind when things arent going to shit.. Again i am far from Incapable, just totally new to Hydro and LEDS.
