Viperspectra p1000
Whats good yall,
Just another quick question, Have any of you used a Viperspectra P1000 light or any LED light that is a 1000? Im asking because one of my plants has become a large tree and the big light that i have is only going to cover so much. I have 3 lights 2 2000s and one p1000 and two plants. I currently have the 2000 hanging from above and the 1000 on the side of the plant. I was thinking about swapping lights the 2000 light and put it on the side and then put the smaller p1000 light above my other smaller plant.
Have any of yall used a single p1000 light for a plant? It says it covers 2x5 x 2x5 so technically it would be good,I just wanted to run it by the community to see how good a plant will grow with just a single 1000 light. Thanks.

The Viparspectra P1000 is a 100w actual draw light. Don't let the model numbers fool you.

It wouldn't even come close to properly covering a 2x5 area. It wouldn't even technically be good enough for a 2x2 area.

The recommended wattage per sqft is 35w of quality light per sq.ft. A 2x5 area is 10 sq.ft. You would need 350w of light to properly cover a 2x5 space. 100w isn't going to cut it.

Ya, Im pretty sure I had the specs wrong in the post, now that im thinking about it im pretty sure it said it covers a 2x2 space. I have a Maxisun PB2000 that covers 2 1/2 ft.
The lights i have are ativia qh 2000 maxisun pb2000 and the viper. I think what i am going to do is just change the lighting schedule. I asked on another thread if i swapped lighting schedules for one of the plants, would it hurt&a few people said it would be fine a 12 hour switch isnt really going to hurt the plants. So tomorrow on the smaller plant i am going to put it somewhere else with the lights off all day and then when the 12 hours are up on the other plants i will bring over 1 of the bigger lights. Thanks , lmk what u think of that idea

lol.
i have 3 lights 2 big ones 1 smaller one, 2 plants, 1 plant is now a tree lol and the other is 21/2 ft.. I currently have the two big lights on each plant. The one plant is too big for 1 light so i have the other smaller light pointing towards the side of the plant BUT. i dont think that is enough to cover this big plant and I wanted to move the smaller led light from the side of the large plant and swap it with the bigger light on the smaller plant.
My question here was would that smaller light be enough to cover what would become a 3 1/2 ft plant?
The other option on the table is
swapping the light schedule. I was considering leaving the light off for the smaller plant for 12 hours and then restarting the light schedule at night time (the opposite to what it was). Then i would just continue on with that schedule so i wouldnt have to worry about the lights as i could just borrow them when they turn off
hopefully that made sense, that was confusing

As you can see the tree is a monster. I had someone watching the plant and the bottom part was blocked from light as it grew. I had used some of the plant for cloning. I really should trim the bottom stuff up,i was going to try and restore it&i had light on it up until 2 weeks ago when i moved it to the side of the plant instead bc its more beneficial there, ive been meaning to trim it off ,it looks worse on the bottom than it really is. The plant doesnt really start until like 3 feet up which is why i call it a tree bc thats how its shaped. It was my first time topping a plant, i didnt do it early enough&it was my first time using feminized seeds,i had used autos the past year and i thought the plant would switch to flowering after a couple days but it took like 3 weeks just for it to switch&then inthose 3 weeks the plant shot up big time.
If the plant is going to keep growing and I will switch the light above to on the side and have a light on each side and Ill move the smaller plant so theres room. #OUTofCONTROL
