light sch ? from a newbie

I have my light sch on 12/12 for flowering I want to know if I have my light on durn n the night can I change it to be on durn n the day or will that hurt my plant

you can change it but you should do it slowly. change the schedule by 1 hour every day for 12 days. i've also seen some guys do it quicker if that's what you need. if so, you could probably do 3-4 hour changes over the course of a week. just make sure the dark cycle is always the longest. don't give them anymore than 12 hours of light. that way they will stay in flower.

the easiest way to switch light cycles is to give extra dark time and then just cut the lights on when you want the on to start...

the longer the dark period the more stress i think the plant goes through. you basically start to shut the plant down like you would for harvest if you did something like 18-24 hours of darkness. the idea is as little stress as possible in flower. same reason you try not to transplant or train a plant during flowering.
