Light Schedule messed-up aorta

Hey guys this is my first post here. I have 10 plants growing under a 1000 watt hps and im 4.5 weeks into flowering these guys. Last night I forgot to turn the stairway light to the basement off when I went to bed, so it remained on after the grow light went off. Basically, 7 hours later it was still on, and I turned it off. This means that the plants had 7 hours of disturbed sleep, what I am wondering is how much will an 18 watt cfl located about 8 feet away from the plants effect the plants/ do I have much to worry about?? A little worried here people, what do think?

It should be okay. Just don't do it again. 1000w=sunpower... 18 CFL 8 feet away... I'd say thats okay for a one time mess up. Better that than a constant small light leak every day/night.

I throw all of my lights in the room where my garden is on the same timer schedule that the plants are in. Even if I go to turn on a light on accident in the plants nighttime, they lamp wont fire.

Alrighty, thanks for the quick responses! I would throw the it all on one timer, but I i'm moving out of this place in july and I'm not fucking with the electricals (the cfl's on a wall switch). Anyways, hopefully I'll be posting some dank in a fews weeks!
