light schedule

so i just started growing some autoflowers and my light schedule was set at 12/12 and i was wondering if i was to switch it to a 16/8 would it mess with anything or would it still grow fine? There just over 2 weeks old if it matters

Auto flowers are supposed to be on 18/6-20/4 their entire life, mate.

yea i know rookie mistake i was told you could do them 12/12 but after doing more research i realized its suppose to be 18/6 that's why i'm trying to figure out if i i was to switch it to the 18/6 now would it mess anything up?

No not at all. Light schedule isn't that important. They're indeterminate.

Auto's are not dependent on dark periods to flower, so they will benefit from as much DLI as you can give them.
They aren't impacted from changing light schedules-more is better for autos
