Lighting Difference

Whats up everyone, i didnt know if i should post in indoor growing or newbie. Since im new to growing weed.

What exactly is the difference between flourecent lights and a regular light bulb??

im not to good with the faq but i know for a fack that if you try to grow with a regular round light bulb your not going to get any results, get some CFLs (spiral energy saving light bulbs) or use some shop light fluro's

Would a 13watt flouresent light do any good?

a 13 watt? i dout it, im using three 40 watt fluro's and that isnt even very good

Incandescents use up a lot more wattage an don't even compare to the lumen output on most CFLs. Use at least 2 CFLs per plant and get the highest lumen output ones you can find. You can even use the CFLs throughout your entire grow. Make sure you have some good reflectors and good reflective material. Good luck.

you know wikipedia? no, start to use it a bit then:

an more basic: a CFL gets about 4 times the light per watt the a incandescent bulb, besides the fact that incandescents are in the totally wrong spec to grow with in the first.
