well sure a 200 mph ferrari is better than a 100mph ford but both can do the job equally well and yes the ferrari does have more power but you wouldnt efficiently use it all and on average you would probably use about 100mph max so you paid all that extra money and havent really benefited from it

Cool sooo... Back to the topic anyone? I'd like to find results for reflected CFL lumens (higher or lower than advertised)

Its amazing YOU telling someone else to learn, single track mind without listening to anyone elses information, the cfl was a later addition to my grow, i had used the metal halide on previous grows and found that the heat from the metal halide was too high but was prepared to stick with it thinking it was the best, but after doing the math and LISTENING to others i figured out that a 6400k high power cfl would be able to do the job of veging equally well if not better.

So i LISTENED and learnt that cfls can be a suitable light to grow under.

If YOU cant accept this to be a fact and just go back to something out of high times because you misunderstood whatever was being written then I leave you to it, your obviously far too retarded to be worth bothering with.

You will probably come back now with someone that you have said previously or maybe even a few swear words maybe a bit of shouting, but one things for definate you will be sure to show your stupidity

you know, I am not sure at all about the mylar thing. I dont use it, my walls are flat white. I'm not really sure it would hurt it, but I am not sure it would help it either.
Ahh, we agree on something!

I use flat matt white paint as well, it's on average about 5% less reflective than mylar and doesn't reflect as much heat. The biggest problem with mylar is, people don't use it properly - it needs to be absolutely flat to maximise its reflective properties, if it's got any crinkles in it at all, then much of its reflective advantage is lost, and mylar is so thin it's hard not to get it crinkled.

The thicker diamond pattern mylar probably is worth the money as its more reflective tha n standard mylar and doesn't crinkle anything like as much. However, you have to weigh up how much that extra 5% reflectivity is worth, for many it's simply not worth the money, particularly if you have to cover large areas with it.

Bring something to the table. That is jibberish posted. (YOU LISTEN blah blah blah).

High Times is only ONE fucking source to back me up. Google is also your friend as well.

Stupid is the last thing I am. If that is what you think then you are a moron. I may be an assshole but I am not stupid. The IQ. here runs at alot higher clock speeds than most on the planet but I do not need to brag about that or show off.

What I post will pull you or anyones pants down because when you know your shit, nobody can bullshit you. Nobody. That is how fucking good I am. Sounds conceited and arrogant?...oh well.

I do very very fucking well in this life and use weed as a medicine and know how to grow because again...I have my shit wired fucking eh tight.

More MYTH's propagated.

MYLAR comes in 2 mil thickness and that is the ticket. ONE mil MYLAR IS SHIT.

2 MIL MYLAR (Diamond pattern? jesus more lies) will practically stand on its own it is that rigid. Cardboard backing is FREE if needed and it is not on 2 MIL MYLAR.

How do I know this ? Because I used it since before you were born and that is why I am here to educate the posters from fucking flat out lies.

I'll just leave this here, your too uninteresting to be bothered with any longer, go on tell the world that anything apart from your opinion is wrong, everyone will read enough information in this thread to be able to work things out for themselves and just realise you dont belong here and you dont really know much about anything, just something you read somewhere.

Anyway as I have said im done playing with you but please feel free to get on with your mission to turn the growing community away from cfl lighting.

My mission is to tell the truth. If the truth bothers you then tough shit. It is the truth and why is it the truth ? Because I say so. Been there and done that and no snotty nosed punk will be able to tell me anything different unless he comes from a position of knowledge and experience.....you have neither.

I have said this a million different times there is no one way to grow marijuana. Its a plant trying to survive. If you feed it it will grow and if you match the suns lumens per square foot (10,000lm) it will flower just fine. If you want the plant to create more resin give it UV-B it will create it naturally to protect its self.

I plan on trying a microgrow in either oner of these. Im thinking about using the mini fridge and cutting a whole in th top for light (for maximum height). I'm only working with 24" in height and 24 accross.
