Thanks for the reply Tracker my closet is 3ft by 5 ft I have two 600 watt full spec led lights but I can't keep plants from stretching to 6 inches from lightWhat are the light specs, and what are the dimensions of the area you are trying to cover?
Pictures don't give an accurate indication of light intensity.
Lol I did not even look for info in the box's when I got the lights I will find the ones I got an send a picWhat is the true power draw on those? I doubt you have two 600w LEDs in a 3x5 area. What is the manufacturer and model?

Hey Tracker what can I do to stop them from stretching? They want to grow to 6 inches from light or is it okay to let them be 6 inches from light?Walmart's website doesn't have the true power spec listed. I'm not going to do an exhaustive search, but it might be worth your while to do it. It'll give you a better understanding of what you're working with. I'm going to make a WAG and say those are 100w true power, so you've got 200w with two of them on a 3x5 canopy. That's 13.3w/sqft which is underpowered.
Good luck! Peace![]()

Like @Lordhooha says above, better lights. If you get the lights closer, you will reduce the spread of light across the entire surface to make two areas with higher intensity.Hey Tracker what can I do to stop them from stretching? They are autoflowers an really didn't stretch until they had already started floweringtop them?
Autoflowers.. so they do the flower stretch too... interesting. My photos grew 12inches in flower... how long did yours grow? Not sure you can do much with the flower stretch, genetics play a part in that too.. did you say what you were growing...sorry I just read through quickly.. Sativa dominant? They are autoflowers an really didn't stretch until they had already started flowering
It's blackjack which is a hybrid one turned out looking like sativa one turned out looking like indica and one I'm sure it's gonna look sativa as for time 12 weeks for two and the one probably has 4 more weeks which is fine because it's a big plant I'm sure my growing conditions is what made them take so longAutoflowers.. so they do the flower stretch too... interesting. I'm going through a first grow (supervised by experienced members) and learned a ton about these ladies .. my seedling started with a Home Depot LED setup... I thought I was it.... lol, then they out grew that, so I jumped on an upgraded 150watt setup...they out grew that...then I jumped on another 150 watt led...they out grew that one...so I went to a 300watt LED setup......and yup...they out grew that too....now I'm mid flower with two 300 watt LED fixtures with one 150watt fixture in the middle.. lmfao... just spend for a decent lighting that will cover your space and light it up well into flowering, they last for multiple grows, over 5 years is what I'm told if you take care of them, some have over 5 year warranty, so that upfront coat will pay for itself in the long run... just do your homework... PAR Charts is something to check into for each light your considering. It's blackjack which is a hybrid one turned out looking like sativa one turned out looking like indica and one I'm sure it's gonna look sativa as for time 12 weeks for two and the one probably has 4 more weeks which is fine because it's a big plant I'm sure my growing conditions is what made them take so long
