My belief is high temps are the enemy of quality and affect the flavor and smell. Limo, did you notice this when you ran higher temps with CO2?
I am subject to higher temps in the summer & IMO yes finished product always suffers because of high temps...CO2 or not. You can still benefit from adding CO2 without raising temps. I don't bother with CO2 anymore.

I'm curious how much yield increase you would get if you kept your canopy temps 80 or less with CO2,would it be worth it when you don't raise your temps.

I think it would still be plenty worthwhile, even in the scenario of simply replacing atmospheric concentrations in a well sealed room.

Ttystik when you will switch to leds you will never think about using CO2!
I don't know here in US but in EU few years ago gpw in soil was a Graal...you were blessed by Jah himself if you did reach that weight!
Now almost everyone can with cob...and beyond...I am sure some hydro pro could pull 2gpw with cxb 3590 36V @700mA!
And it is not finish...it even look like the beginning!
I was wondering if we can double our production with weed...is it going to be the same with tomatoes, strawberries...all fruits and vegetables?
Anyone try? (A bit expensive to grow lettuces! )
Have a great day ★

I grew some delicious strawberries under some 4000k Vero18. Deep red all the way through and so sweet. I have some small strawberry clones growing now. I also have about a dozen or so okra plants that are just now starting to fruit.

Just have to be aware of how the different plants are pollinated so you have mature fruits and vegetables. ;-)

Everything that I have put under these CoB's has absolutely loved it.

I like this. I could go for fresh berries grown under COB.

Au contraire, Mon ami! The use of advanced climate control systems, RDWC and CO² will establish the bar we will all aim to beat in the future!

I guess it is a spyder mites year...!
Lots of people have some these days on every continents...
I tried the organic way but it is not very effective...so I will have to wash all the leaves for 7 week or use chemical...in my organik grow it will be so bad...I don't know what to do!?? (If I go chemical I will have to put the product on the big leaves with a sponge and on the small with a pen to paint (don't know the English)to be able to let the buds "clean" I don't want to...but I don't want spyders too!
I heard about Spinozad shower but I don't know what it is...and if I can find that in EU!???
I was thinking about use adhesive scotch but I am going to break the leaves or mastic on every back...or even high pressure water or air!?
Or put all the plant (not the pot)in water for a mn
Or let the plant for a few hours out (0ºC...32ºF) I know they hate cold but did spyders going to sleep or die?
I HATE THOSE BEASTS!
Have a great day ★

Bonjour
Thanks but I am in EU!...we don't have this brand!
Today I wipe all the leaves with a sponge to remobe as much as I can!
They seem to develop slow because of low temperature of cob and the leaves are stronger...I am lucky...lol!

Insecticidal soap (potassium hydroxide + liquid fat based, aka "old fashion hand soap") will cause their soft bodies to melt. Make sure to wash off the soap.

I'm blessed by wild ladybugs infiltrating my tents and hanging out on my leaves, so I doubt I will ever see aphids.

No I have to order potasium...so later!
Do you just melt both together?
What doses please?
Than I let for how long before rinse the
leafs?
I understand it...when the soap is going to dry it is going to trap the spiders on and potasium gonna kill it...am I right?
Have a nice day!

There are a lot of soap making guides on the internet. I'm not really an expert in making soap. I don't think hand "detergent" will work though. The soap causes the mites's soft body to melt.

If you do decide to make your own soap, you can also use the potassium hydroxide for pH up. Obviously be careful with potassium hydroxide as it's caustic and can cause burns on your skin and eyes if not handled properly, so be careful. (it's not that dangerous, but you should still respect it).

I'm sure you could just find real hand soap, or insecticidal soap at a store too.

Bonjour
I already have black soap with olive oil.
What should I do?
Just put some pure soap on leaves...than wait for it to dry than remove it?
It is real soap that we need...no potassium is it? (The soap must contain some...!?!)
