Well I re-potted a couple of days ago (both of them) and I think my larger one is having some problems basically quite a few of the leaves have the following and/or symptoms:
- Tips dying
- Edges going yellow then brown
- Leaves appear to be drying out
Its still making new, healthy growth but then some of the new growth leaves seem to adopt the symptoms above after a few days.
Now I know I put too many nutrients in last week, but I thought they would have been flushed out now or at least symptoms improving. So Ive decided to do a couple of things...
Firstly I have bought a PH testing kit and I will test the soil in each of the pots once or possibly twice to get a more accurate reading.
Secondly, I re-potted the bigger one in a very large pot and as such I didnt have a saucer/catch-tray for water. So I used a bin bag to layer the bottom to cover the holes. However I realise that was a dumb idea as it will encourage root rot and not allow for drainage, so Ive bought a large saucer and I will pierce the black backs above the holes so I dont have to take all the soil out just to get the bag out just simply make it able to drain again.
Any other opinions guys? The smaller plant (diff strain) looks (touch wood) 100% healthy. Cant see any deficiency in the plant at all.
