Lockdowns work.

With all the gun laws, he still got a gun illegally. This is why in America we like our guns. Mainly the mass shootings happen in gun free zones. Sometimes police are not fast enough. Protect yourself and your family.
After 2020 you might be surprised at what congress can do about guns in America. If the government can regulate calibers (why can't ya own a 20mm cannon?) and can regulate automatic weapons (machine guns), it stands to reason they can regulate semiautomatic weapons too. The second amendment was more about community protection than individual rights, more about the responsibility of serving under the command of the government, than defending oneself from it. The government can ban all semi automatic weapons, even double action revolvers, cock to shoot max 6 rounds in a revolver and 5 in a rifle. Hunters should be fine with that and if you haven't had a hunting license in the last 2 years a cop is gonna want to know why you need a gun.

The 2nd is about defending the state under the command of the state, not defending oneself from the state with a gun, that would be illegal.

The NRA is fucked and the republicans are finished, Donald is done, gun nuts are fucked, just wait and see...

Also I’ve asked the question “what is a lockdown” a few times. Seems it gets quoted a lot but never answered
A lockdown is the jargon commonly used for the worldwide government edicts to their respective livestock to stay inside or at home or not to travel etc unless doing some permissible thing as described by master. It's the definition of a Global Police State.

It shuts down some businesses while allowing others to remain open. It commands people to only go down certain aisles in some stores (those favored by government and still allowed to be open) while not going down other aisles. Some of the features of the lockdown are massive rights violations and death threats for continual noncompliance and heavy Stockholme syndrome driven mask wearing and fearful aaaaaattitudes of the sheep.

Some of the coming consequences of the lockdown you may experience after your hungry neighbors serve you on a platter while pillaging thru your tool shed for things of value to trade at the Thunderdome, while 87 year old Tina Turner gyrates lasciviously to some kind of futuristic music while 70 year old Mad Max rides around on @londonfog new motor cycle battling bad guys aided by a large know it all bigfoot who is exceptionally well endowed, thus turning the scene into a heavy R rating and being unacceptable for children to watch, but stimulating to those with child like minds...like you, if you were still alive and not eaten.

(and yes I know that was a helluva run on sentence, I'm breathless, quick get me a ventilator!)

I find it ironic that in France Muslim women were forbidden to conceal their faces in public and now everybody is being asked for it.
But I guess people do it in order to being careful not to unbeknowingly infect others. If only these would also protect oneself.

I didn't either. I cited new infections.
The CDC tracks the progress of this epidemic using number of deaths due to the virus.

Amateurs may do and say what they want. I heard somebody say human caused global warming is a hoax because satellite data from the troposphere said the earth was cooling. Just in case you run with that, they were wrong. The earth is in fact warming due to human activities. Also, I just checked and lockdowns are still working.

I love watching the blubbering babies crying about the fact that it’s a good idea to stay home to avoid spreading a deadly virus

they are retarded people who are mentally unfit and cannot even function in society anyway

People deny advice from experts all the time. It doesn't mean we have to take them seriously.

If the sea becomes anoxic the atmosphere will gather SO2 which is highly toxic for plants and stink like farts. We can have this within this millenia then you need an astronaut jump suit to go out shopping, yet here the babies cry about a simple mask...

Lol. How dose it feel to be scared, unarmed, and in need of government help?

We are the government and we rule and we are coming for you toys. The government is the community and you are a mere individual, the collective wins, it always does. Claymore mines and handgrenades are "arms" too, so are mortars and you can't own them either. You can't own a full automatic AR-15 and the government can say if you can own a semiautomatic one too.

Only a small fraction of the population owns the vast majority of the guns, a tiny minority...

Oh, cool, then maybe you can explain why Italy had its highest death tolls during the lockdown and just had it's record lowest since around the start of the lockdowns today, even though they eased those lockdowns almost two weeks ago. It seems that tracking deaths is not actually what any epidemiologist would track as a metric for the spread of the virus. That's why they track new cases in an effort to minimize the deathtoll.

Thanks for providing a great example of a tactic taken from the science deniers handbook for false arguments:

Cite dynamic data as if it were static.

It's common for climate science deniers to say something like that too: "It's snowing outside, so much for global warming."

And here it is, "Italy's death toll is high today, so defend the lockdown" as if that statistic means it isn't working.

Both are logical fallacies and no, I'm not going to address the fallacy of logic you posed. Because I just checked and lockdowns are still working:

Well that's the whole point of the lockdowns. That's why they use "flatten the curve" as the primary rhetoric. The idea is to graph new cases per day logarithmically and keep the apex of the curve below that line prepresenting healthcare capacity.

That's actually the global strategy. It doesn't work.
Who are "they"? Are you claiming there is a conspiracy?
