So my goto storage for my stash is a mini fridge which I do not plug in. Keeps things dark and is well insulation had no storage issues during the winter.
So since summer has started I have a floor model AC which I have basically blowing directly onto the side of my mini fridge which was able to keep things between 60f-70f at all times. Lately there has been a heatwave in my area and my stash has been reaching temps of 73f-74f at times and far too often sitting around 71f. These 70f+ temps. have only been occurring for multiple days now (maybe 4-7) and I'm already starting to notice degeneration of terpenes.
Anyways after noting the loss of terps on multiple strains in my stash I went and grabbed a spare ink bird thermostat I had and luckily the sensor cord fits right through the fridge door without breaking the Insulated seal. So my mini fridge is turning on at 68f and off again at 65f which keeps it from dropping below 60f or going above 70f at any point. Now the issue is my rH is skyrocketing into the 70%-90% range.
Im assuming my herb is not safe from this humidity sealed in a jar or not and I'm very concerned for my few grove bags coming to the end of a cure.
Is there any fix to this issue and/or any reccomendations?
