looking for a decent tent

Im in search for an tent that has decent quality for the $. I am looking at mars hydro 4x4 tent. Are the mars tents any good?

Greetings. All tents are pretty standard. The more pricey ones have better zippers, fatter poles and heavier materials.

They all leak light in some fashion even my gorilla's. So don't get locked into no Light leaks ever, they make duct tape for a reason.

Get what fits into your budget and works for what you plan in doing. More bigger vent holes the better, front flap Velcro over flap is a plus. Vent holes with cinch ties etc..

Aluminum poles > plastic poles

Yeah some have plastic corner pieces that are more prone to breaking than the metal ones. Some also have a observatory flap so you can look in without opening the door. Other than that they're all pretty similar.
