I don't know what the fuss is about this chick. She won a primary. Big whoop! I do think it speaks to the greater problem facing the dems. The messiah is not real popular. His healthcare reform, not real popular. The economy, still in the shitter and after all this talk about how we needed a trillion dollar stimulus or unemployment would go above 8%. Newsflash! It's almost 10% still! People are fed up and they will excercise the only real power they have; voting these fuckwads out of office. I don't care if you are dem or a repuke, the "establishment" has problems.

i've just read a few things about her and i cannot understand what part of christine o'donnel appeals to teabaggers apart from her palin endorsement. she's not financially responsible, she's of the veiw that governement should be involved in stuff like masterbation. alright she might be a bit of eye candy (not very good candy at that) but this holding her up as a godzilla of politics is effing funny

I know you are from the UK but your views always tend to lean toward the left. I don't care what your political views are personally. The masturbation thing was from when she was in high school! Kids are fairly impressionable. Does she still feel this way? That's the important question. Her winning the primary speaks to the greater problem in established politics in this country. That's why this is so intriguing. She is simply the vessel........
BTW I have no clue why it was such a big deal about this "coalition" thing you guys had going on earlier this year with your new pm. I don't undersand UK politics either.

How many times must I repeat that I have not made up my mind on O'Donnell? I think I've been very clear on that point.

you should look a little into what happened in the uk with our 2 main party and 1 smaller party political system and whats happened after the coaliton as your heading for some similar results in the us

I'm just floored that you would pass judgement on someone with basically NO proof whatsoever. Show me where she says she currently would advocate for a BAN, not an "I believe", on masturbation and I'll gladly put my foot in my mouth.

considering how far down the religous scale you'd have to be to advocate the government banning masterbation, then even if she did take a step back on the masterbation part she's still a fucking long way down that scale. it would have to be leaps back before i saw her get to a point where i would consider having her be my voice in government. religion and government don't mix just look to the middle east to see that in actionWhat?!? now the only proof that would get me to consider her as a realistic candidate would have to be either an out of wedlock sex tape (make it a lesbian tape and i would personaly write her a letter of apology ) barring that i dunno maybe pics of her snorting coke infront of an upside down cross or something

What bothers me is that it seems like the Tea Party "movement" is nothing more than the Moral Majority repackaged and renamed......all the same standards seem to apply to both.
Why I dont like her:
She opposes abortion in ALL cases....in other words if a 12 year old girl was to be raped by an uncle and impregnated, she would have her FORCED BY THE GOVERNMENT to carry the baby to term.....isn't that big government and government overreach into personal matters?
Seems like a lot in the movement are all for personal liberties as long as it doesnt offend their religious views........same thing with the govt. being involved, no big government UNLESS it offends Christian morals and ethos..............hypocrites

! She is a political nobody, from a brand new, unestablished political party! These are exciting times my friend. The system can work if the people get organized and the political "establishment" better take heed. We will not tolerate the bastardization and corruption of our precious constitution. The things in it are as important today as they have ever been. The people have spoken and they are not happy with the 2 parties. It's not hard to understand, really.
