Its been a week or so since i cloned the cuttings....I have a couple more to go...I got the Grunk, PCT, Blueberry, and the East Coast Diesel...The only one holding out is the white widow.
Its nice to have some plants Vegging, My perpetual system is going to take a hitch unless I can do some creative purchasing of some clones I helped set up a few months ago.
I expect in the next 3 days the others will clones will be done. I think im gonna put them under the flourecents for a week or so...Any opinons on if this little 100 watt MH or the 2 x 40 watt Flouros would be better.

i know how you feel trying to get your perpetual going.. its a pain the ass to get all the equipment in and set up when funds dont want to work out in your favor.. you'll get there though... im down almost $1000 in cost on my expantion just from little things i've done so far... but i still need about 3 grand in shit..
glad you have some of the clones vegging tho.. within the next few days they will all be ready to go for you... as far as the lighting goes if you can use the mh and floros go ahead and do that... if not go with the floros... but the more you can throw on them light wise, the more growth they will have during that week...

I also have a 600 watt hps not being used at the moment. I could add that in with the flouros? I gotta days worth of work to get that room squared away.
People don't realize what it takes in investment to grow inside. I bet our group on RIU has spent $1000 Just on fans...lol I wouldn't even add up the bill for lights? If I ran RIU...Id be 3rd party selling grow lights, mylar, fans, nutes, etc...There missing a fortune.

if you can throw the HPS in too that wouldnt be a bad idea.. if really just depends on how much growth you are looking to get out of them in there before moving them.. if you are looking more to get the started and then move them stick with the mh/floros.. that will give them enough to get a good set of roots while minimizing vertical growth.. if you just want them to grow as much as they can throw the hps in too...
i really dont think people realize how much it costs either.. i mean.. you can do it cheap.. but to get a good solid grow room, that continually puts out large harvests, and stays consistant environmentally wise, it does take a good chunk of change.. its fucked up to think.. but once all is said and done my grow room, which is just a converted bedroom, will end up being worth about 13,000.. plus countless hours of labor.. but its all oh so worth it in the end...

lol....I bet you didn't expect to spent 13G when you set up in there initially. I knew what I was getting into from the start, it will take me time to get to where I want but it'll get there. We will all push each other to better and better...Or we'll all end up with almost the same grows...lol

oh i had NO idea what i was getting into.. i had grown a few personal plants for myself... so i knew what i was doing... when i got the opportunity to get a partner and get a good grow going.. it started out around 5 g's worth of stuff... from building the extra room in the basement (where it all began), to lights, to soil, ect.... after unforseen complications, mostly flooding, mold, and mildew, i moved the room.. which ended up being another 3 grand or so of stuff... poly, hydro system, IR block, ect... ive put another about 4 grand into it since last harvest... with the wall, chiller, new fan, ect... and still got 3 g's or so of stuff to go... so what is that... 15 or 16 grand when all is said an done.... fuck... but i am almost there... i wish i would have known a little more about the environment in the basement at first.. i would have saved time and money and started upstairs to begin with.. oh well live and learn... im down to keep each other motivated and going... the more positive reienforcement we can get from one another the better things will be!

Yeah...I haven't even began to shop....This location is only temporary for a year or less, so I will have a new batch of issues then. Im gonna order another 1000watt in a couple weeks. Then im gonna have to do with that till about october...Then im going to buy the other 2 more...That'll...Then I still need veg lights....It all worth.

It would be fun, There are some advantages to hydro, It might take awile before I convert, I like the soils forgiving nature.
I definitaly have a co2 burner a ways below the ezcloner on my TO Buy list.
Im going to move the grow before I get to that point since I have only room for 40 plants currently..

I haven't felt like this has been near a top grow for me...Ive had to leave town a couple time....Battled sickness and been super tired. Its still moving forward and Im expecting better and more consistent results from plant to plant.
I have done the same to all of these ladies...Except I stalked 50% of the plant instead of a 33% like i did on the other 3 and It seams the the one that I took all the lower branches has twice as much weight. The other 3 just look small in comparison.
The 3 plants in week 3 I stalked to 50% and they have more light...Im expecting bigger better yields of those 3.

For sure its getting better....When I get some of the new plants in to bud from the veg room ill be alot happier. The plants are dripping resin right now....I don't see any amber trichs very cloudy. Im gonna let 2 of them go two more weeks and let 2 of them go longer.
I don't know anything about the strain im growing except form the 3 I just grew so Im going to experiment a bit.

The holiday weekend is over so no I can concentrate on watching the grass grow again. Theres not much else Id rather do...
The Sour D is finally showing roots, that makes all except one of the clippings have shown roots. All thats left is the Widow.
When these new plants come through Im gonna have to send something nice over to my homeboy....Im 6 months ahead of buying seeds, plus the clippings are sexed.
The goal was to carry at least one of each clipping to become a clone mother. I think by tomorrow or the next day the widow and the remaining few clones will be rooted. Then Im gonna work on upgrading the veg area a bit.
The flowering plants are doing well, the temps are up a bit...78 to 89. I need to make it over to the hardware store and get some 6 inch venting....I put my vents together with what I had in the garage, I was in a pinch so I used reducers and ran 4 inch tube to get by till my holiday comotion was over.

sounds like you have a good plan set out... i agree there is nothing better than watching the grass grow!!
temps are held steady for me at 80... ton of air exchange tho... i think i might end up putting my 8" fan on my can filter and moving the 6" fan thats on it and using it as an exhaust fan.. anyways.. good luck with getting your temps in check.. that shit can drive a man crazy!

I figure its my turn to deal with temp probs, since im behind our RIU click by a few grows. It speeds up my learning curve.
Im ordering all the venting, fans, adapters, and all the shit I need at one time on my next order.
I shouldn't have too much trouble, Im gonna run an 8'' pulling air over the lights and another 8'' pushing over the lights from another room thats cooler. Im going to replace the fan I mounted in the wall for my room intake with one of these stanley blowers. Ive heard good things about these and the price is good also.
