The tricomes, that's where the probable issue is. Milky tricomes is thc however when they amber its some other drug that's actually poisonous. It could be the chlorophyll in the leaves thats messing with your head. These are my guesses so you can do some searching and check into these two options i gave you, if im wrong tell me. Or wait for someone who knows more and maybe the both of us will learn something new.

Could be a few reasons .... improper cure , too early harvest , underdeveloped triches ,
Shit strain , low thc crap , heavier leaf to calyx strain , too many Nutes .... on and on.

I read on another site that the amber trichomes have more CBN and less THC, not toxic but not the euphoric type of high from THC. More of a narcotic couch lock high.
