Oh that's cool didn't know it was that old haven't been on here for a while yeah that 90 days plus or minus I usually run them till the leaves turn brown or in your red whatever color they want to turn in that strain. I just use 90 day as a guideline rather than 5 months outdoors
Leaves aren't supposed to turn brown. That's usually due to flushing or other improper growing care.

No it's the plant maturing and running out of food I use all organic food it's like fall colors leaves in the forest but I guess a lot of people don't that don't go to maturity when the food runs out the buds will start pulling the nutrients out of the fan leaves cause them to turn like fall colors in turn asks the same as flushing as it's pulling all the nutrient taste out of your product when you use liquid nutrients and stop two weeks before harvest and just use water you won't get that

Yeah. That's not how cannabis finishes. You've summed up the perpetuated bro science myth of flushing nutrients out of plants.

If you have fading or dying leaves 90 days in you aren't taking proper care of your plants.

Again I say 90 days is only the breeders recommendations I let I don't go by days weeks months years I go by the plant themselves as far as fading leaves go I've never had a problem with my product and when they mature to the point of harvest they do turn colors

It finishes faster and gives a slightly smaller yield. I've played with flowering times plenty over the years. @ 4 weeks into flower start lowering the timer by 30 minutes a week. It will take a week off and finish by 9 instead of 10.

I agree 100% I rarely grow autos and as I said I never liquid nutes all organic and worm castings mixed in coco at transplant. Top dress at flip and once again about 5th week flower then run them out 9-11 weeks depending on strain and what my girls are telling me

Yeah that plant isn't ready lol. You also said you usually run them to 90 days plus minus, not what the breeder recommends.

I said that to a guy who wanted to rush his grow by dropping light time I also said I rarely grow autos and I harvest my crop when they tell me they're ready not when I'm ready. You also said they the fan leaves won't turn when they tell you it's time for harvest. Well I say they do. I don't know what you grow or how long you've been doing it, but if you have never had leaves turn maybe your cutting too early. Hmmm. I didn't reply to argue or defend myself everyone has their own method. What works for you is not written in stone. Now I know why I haven't been on this site for quite awhile too many self proclaimed experts.

I've done 10/14 on long flowering sativas like Oldtimers Haze that will keep flowering at 12/12. The breeder at ACE seeds recommended shortening the daylight hours. He may have said 11/13 but I had been reading posts from others that had grown it and some were doing 10/14 towards the end. After 16 weeks of flowering with no end in sight something had to be done. I ended up going 20 weeks with that plant and I could have still let it go longer. That was the longest damn grow I've ever done.

Boy you still on that 90 day thing. I'm sure your the Best grower on this page too I've been growing weed since 1985 I've tried it all and learned a lot good luck harvesting your herb too early your missing out on so much. Anyone can write a journal anyone can write fiction too. The proof is in the product. Do you like to argue to prove to yourself you are the best grower here, well it ain't working. Later rollitup I think I'll stick to my other forum where there are growers who are actually knowledgeable.

I call you out for harvesting early and now all the sudden I'm harvesting early? You have no idea when I'm even harvesting. How did you come up with that conclusion? My journal was documented daily, how is that fictional? Here's some proof of my fictitious work. See ya later sock.

How much do you yield per photoperiod plant?
Lol dude, I duno how you do it. I literally can't respond to these guys anymore. It hurts my brain. So much misinformation and just general stupidity.... Nobody wants scientific data, just what their brosef told them. Since legalization, there's been alot of studies, and research debunking pretty much all broscience, but people still jump on the bro-train without even thinking twice about it. I've learned things from people here, then researched what I learned to back it up with science ... Proof. There's so much bad Information here from people who clearly don't know much, yet still continue to offer (bad) advice to people especially new growers. Sometimes I read the posts then go to answer and delete my response, because it's pointless to argue against, I don't have the bandwidth anymore.

You’re an idiot. Allllll those words and allllll that gloating about yourself and you’re still wrong as fuck. I have bushed out photoperiod plants taller than me that three people combined can’t get their arms around. You wanna try to tell me that an auto flower can do that? You’re a clown.

FYI, autoflowers were how I got my start in growing.
