Lowryder #1 First Grow

I'll trade my Pontiac for a car with a nice throttle and pop bottles with all of americas top models
 
Hey Millyy, Happy New Year!!! Get the thermometer 1st (cost under $88)) check eBay for free shipping. Controlling the temperature is most important. You can get the Moister/pH meter later since you are using distill water and soil with nutes in it. At the end of 2 weeks, put the other light in the case. You only need to flush if you used too much nutes with Lucy. I was referring to the technique call "MAKING IT RAIN" where during the 4-5th week of vegging thru the entire flowering stage to increase your plant size you flush (regular tap water) it with water 2 times the size of it's pot (if the pot is a gallon, then flush your plant with 2 gallons of water) Your plant goes to sleep and might droop like its been over watered but when she wakes up, she will wick all the water out the soil. A couple of days later, she will be looking for more water but instead feed her. No flushing needed when you feed her. Warning: This method will produce TREES so plan according to your grow area. I plan to Make it Rain to increase the size of the Blue Mystics starting the 4th week of flowering and the Master Kush the 5th week of vegging.

Thanks for that info Chief, happy new years to you as well! There isn't to much for me to do to control the temp if it's TOO cold since im going the max light it should take (20/4). I'll add a little bit of that flowering tab on day 14 but do you think theres no more nutes in the soil? I'm not sure if the little white things are the nutes but theres quite a few of them, i don't want to burn the plants. and I'll add the extra light.. Once i add the other light should i plug in the fans? I haven't been using the fans with the 3 lights on this whole time soo, i don't want it to be too cold but i dont want my light strip to catch on fire haha.
 
Nevermind Chief, since the flowering tab isn't liquid i shouldn't have to worry about over feeding them, half the tab :P
 
I think the white stuff is just perlite. Most soils will have enough nutrients for 2-4 months, it usually says on the bag.

I have read that term before CHIEF "Make It Rain" but never had an explanation. Based on my cabinet size, do you think I can make it rain? Im curious how much height that method will give me. Thanks for the information.
 
DAY 12: Lucy is growing good, still looks kind of the same. I watered her today and i will be adding half a flowering tab on the 14th (tuesday) as well as adding a 4th light most likely.

After going back through this thread, I couldn't help but notice how you change things one minute to the next......therefore I wish lucy well cause I do believe you are going to over nute soon . First of all, you are using FFOF to grow an auto, then adding flower tabs.....you're gonna burn that shit up. I tell you misting is good, but someone else says they "heard" it was bad.....I have to wonder how you're keeping your humidity up without misting?????
Furthermore, your plant is rather small for age...it may be stunted already.

I am only using flower tabs haha, i'm saying they have soil tabs that you use in the begining stages if you DONT have soil that already has nutes in it.

I'm giving Lucy half of a flowering tab for the rest of her life. I never said misting was bad, or good i didn't even mean to mist it when i asked that question, i simply asked if it was bad for water to be on the plant. This is my first grow and like i said, any advice is appreciated, though more than one person has told me to start nutes after 2 weeks if im using FFOF.. It ISN'T a liquid nute, so i don't see how i could over feed her that easily, it is a tablet. Nirvana even said for auto flower's use half a tab.

EDIT: She most likely looks small because there is no veg stage, or i did not use a veg stage at all..

ive had lowryder#1's go 4 foot (lots of them actually), i didnt even know ppl still sold #1 , shoulda went with LR#2 , it yeilds way better and is a lot more stable

I'll probably try it next, or try a different strain, i heard the lowryder #2 smelled a lot though so thats why i went with #1

I've been thinking about starting one. I may have started my seeds to early but, I couldn't wait any longer :) . I've got 2 tents (4x4x6.5), lights (600hps, 2' 4 tube T5HO, and a couple of 125w cfl's) , fans (409cfm 6", and 200cfm 4"), tubs, pumps, pots, nutes, and rockwool........ I just haven't got everything set up yet.

But, I've got seedlings started..................... LOL :) I better get off my butt, and get everything set up

I don't need a lecture about autos....I've been growing them for 3 years with 6 strains going now. Didn't use a "veg" stage....that is a pathetic statement....just how old are you....9?
I still say it'll die or yeild a extremely small amount due to your many errors.....
