Ok so a few days ago I started or attempted to lst one of my white widow plants. I used white string yarn stuff that I used to use to make doilies (sp). Im thinking the string was not good. I cut the string off, the plant is still bent where I bent it, but the string was like attached to the plant, and it kind of topped my plant, which is fine with me. So, my question is, what would be better to use? I read several places for a coat hanger cut up and put in the soil, but my imagination is showing me that the coat hanger will not hold in the soil. And I am also thinking if the string was strangeling the plant, wont fishing line do that too?
Also, if I was to lst the new growth, should I tie down the regular fan leaf stems, or ones that have new growth coming off of the new growth?
Thanks brothas and sistas!
