OK looking into this I think I see what is happening to you. The GH Calculators' PPM is in reference to a .5 conversion factor and the PPM also reflects the use of the liquid Koolbloom which adds 350 ppm.(EC of .7) To confirm I whipped up 1 gallon RO with 10ml micro and 20ml bloom and I got 990 ppm. Add 350 for the Koolbloom (the label states 2 tsp or 10ml = 350 ppm)and I get 1340 ppm. Real close to the stated ppm level.
The calculator set to agressive is Lucas in the sense that the Micro/Bloom is a 1:2 ratio, but is is NOT lucas in the dosage. Lucas is 8 ml micro and 16ml bloom per gallon so the calculator is off by 20% in the dosage (using LUCAS as the desired dose).
So 20% dosage error and 20% meter difference (because you have a .7 meter) is what you are seeing (60% of 5 gallons = 3 gallons)
Traditional LUCAS calls for 40ml micro and 80 ml bloom for a 5 gallon mix (8x5 micro) and (16 x 5 bloom) for a EC of 1.894 (1326@.7 and 947@.5)
