I am about to order some of these Gamma Sealed lids, I will put them on top of brand new, food grade 5 gallon buckets.. This year I am going to manually burp, but next year I will have it fully automated..
I'm using mason jars for main cure then going to 1 gallon mylar bags. I've never tried the mylar but they should be decent. With what you've got going the 5 gallon buckets make sense.

My last plant outside has started budding now. <yeah!>

I have some mason jars I will use as stash jars... I really like the idea of gamma sealed 5 gal buckets, I can put air hoses in them with check valves, then run an air pump so its all automated, set the nugs in, twist the lids and let the air pumps regulate the buckets, toss in some 2 way humidity packs when they are cured, store the bucket away and just grab from it when needed.

I'm starting to sort out the strains I am going to run next year... It's a bit early but I will be starting next years run this fall..

I have a buddy who is going to run some strains through the fall and I am going to go over and select the cuts and then we will watch them flower indoor as I veg them for next years run.. As they finish up indoor I will know which plants are the one I want to keep..

First up on deck:
Korengal Kush, Lucky13 Seeds

Others I am looking at:

GDP Special "Gelato x GDP IBL", Lucky13 Seeds
Kosher Kush x GDP IBL, Lucky13 Seeds
Space Skunk, Lucky13 Seeds
Pineapple Poundcake, Lucky13 Seeds
Himalayan Blue Hash, Lucky13 Seeds
Avalon x Bruce Banner, Next Generation Seeds

There are others I am looking at but I will have to see as we go..

First round of rain came and went, went out and shook off the access this morning.

They are still growing and starting to flower more, they are growing at a rate that is a pain in the ass to deal with, constantly something to do with these ladies..

I will top dress again next week "that should be around 3 weeks or so from the last top dressing", I am just waiting for the weather to clear out..

Once the weather clears I will spray with Dr Doom and continue watching them..

Dirty Dacing "about to dance her way to the stars" pushing well over 9ft, Im thinking its over 10ft at this point.. It's a pain to spray her.

Roadkill OG.. Is also growing at a rate that's hard to keep up with.. They got me running non stop this year.

GDP is bushing up, she is very compact and Im expecting more then it appears with this strain, I think she is going to surprise me.

I took a pic of the Island Sweet Skunk but it didn't send through.. I will update her on the next update.. She is also stretching out and starting to flower.. I'm expecting her to do pretty well when its all said and done.

I will get another update as we go along, Im going to let them flower a bit and we will see how they develop.

Your ladies are massive for sure Playk328.

The little one is in bud and the big one just starting to bud. These are the last 2 plants I'll grow until next year. There has been enough rain that they aren't even getting watered now. No bug spray required although there are marks where there have been bugs. The plant in bloom has had 3 areas where there was some rot to cut out.

Both plants are Okanagan Grape. One will be the Granddaddy Purple pheno and the other kush. The one in bloom smells like a grape skunk. Should be interesting. Soooo many leaves.

Yeah I can see the GDP influences in that smaller plant.. Those loooong ass fan leaf stems is a dead giveaway.

I just got word about my Roadkill OG's..

I took cuts of them earlier and gave them to a buddy to run so we can test them while mine were running outside..

The run of those Roadkills has finished up.. Im pleased to say they flowered stable, no hermies, no foxtailing.. Solid nugs and they smell amazing..

My buddy didn't take a cut of them either, first time running them we didn't know what to expect.

This solidifies that I FUCKED UP by not taking a cut of this strain.. She is in flower now and I really dont want to clone her and then revert it back..

Looks like I will be having to get some more of these before they are gone.

Next question is it the DeepKill that you want. It's mainly RKS with some genetics added to make her earlier from the description.
It would be worth looking at imo.. If it's anything like the RK OG.. Both pheno's I got on the RK OG are looking promising.. I'm already trying to talk the wife into letting me order a pack of them. :)

A buddy and I are looking at making a rosin press this year.. It would be nice to turn some of this into rosin..

Any thoughts?
I never did anything with rosin so I can't help on that one. I tried bubble bags this year and for how much weed I used and what I got out of it wasn't impressive.

I am looking to convert over to extracts this year, over 30 years of smoking buds is starting to take its toll on my lungs.

I chopped the Okanagan Grape that had big buds because there was rot showing up many places. At the same time the second OG was getting crushed so I removed the fence support. Today was sunny with really high gusts and heavy rain. It was the wrong day to not have support.

Other than cleaning up and finishing drying/ curing that's my year done. It was a really good one.

I'll keep an ear out here because I'm expecting some interesting posts ;-).

All my plants are ok thankfully.. Nasty winds here all the time.. If I took my support off them they would flop to the ground from being so big..

These plants are retarded big.. I have no clue wtf Im going to do lol.. I think I may have messed up not realizing how big some of his "medium" sized plants can actually get..

These are turning into the biggest plants Ive grown, I am not sure how much they are going to pull, but I feel like it's going to be more then I was expecting if I can get it all in..

I will get pics and another update as soon as I can, I am completely busy these days with preppy fall gardens and rebuilding my indoor garden "it's looking like I just may be able to start flowering inside again"!!!!!!

I think he may need to change the description on the Roadkill OG, there is no way these plants are "medium" sized.. "maybe for 20ft giants" but for us normal sized 6ft humans, this damn thing towers over us, around us, between us..

My next pic I'll put a 4ft step ladder by the plant so it's easier to reference.. But they are over 10ft tall for sure and just as wide.. they took over my 16ft bed like its a 3 gal pot.

I'm totally impressed with Lucky13 seeds too.

Good luck with your garden. You have a lot of work in there.
