Lumatek digital ballast stated to buzz. Safety - Very worried please help

If its working,its working! I would be more worried if it was ticking. LOL
edit: turn it off wait for it to cool down (15 min) turn it on. Bet its ok now.
No luck..... Im concerned here, lives are at stake...
All material re the lumatek ballast states a silent operation. It was dead silent before now it's changed with ALOT AT STAKE, has anyone heard or had this problem. Every second slips by?

if it was silent YESTERDAY and IS not today i would take it back to your hydro store (you have a spare?), they should exchange if its a reputable shop, my PHANTOM, 100% silent MY 600 watt digi greenhouse NOT SILENT DUE TO THE FAN, BUT THEY STILL WORK GREAT.. again, not a lumatek but still runnin digis no rf interference, and not really any noise
the fans in my room are louder and drown the hum of the small ballast fans

if you bought it locally i would just hang a cfl in there to maintain the light cycle and take it back for replacement i have a lumatek and it dont buzz

there is no fan in a lumatek atleast mine dont i had to replace a galaxy ballast started to hum and flicker the light ever so slightly went out completely two days later
Just spoke to hydro store.... WOW Jo is his name, I told him issue and said I lost receipt, " no probs mate bring it in I'll replace it for ya" how great is that happy to help.... Can I plug the store here? These guys were great at every step... Even offered to add flange to silencer.... My money will be spent here not eBay anymore.

shop should have a record of you buying it if you paid with a CC.
Cant hurt to ask em... Thats the benefit of buying locally, you can get your items replaced if they burn out.
Couldnt hurt to check craigslist for a backup magnetic ballast if the shop wont take it. But they should.... You pay a lot of overhead when buying locally.

cfl to keep the plant on the light cycle dipshit you know so they dont go to "sleep" you pick up right where you let off while you run out to replace the ballast do you see? can you understand ?

i love the the way these old pros like d8 here cant figure out how to return a ballast but scoff at advice nice good luck with your grow buddy

Killer deal with the hydro store.My hydro store repairs digital ballast for cheap no matter where you bought it.There's still some cool cats out there not in it just for the money.
