This is a commercial grow, so I wouldn't be surprised. I may not post anymore afterwards. I've given you people enough. Someone is going to slide in here and patent my Appalachian Mountain Mist Box.

You can’t be commercial, you run clones. Commercial only runs from seed every run bruv

I need to take clones for the next round, so while I do that I'm going to pop my Grumpz seeds and then clone and sex them for the following cycle. There are 6 regular seeds, so I'll only end up with a few females. Grumpz is my favorite Cannarado strain so far and I'll probably end up running at least a few plants during every grow from here on out. I still have a piece of bud from 2 years ago that I can't bring myself to finally finish off.

Also I was about to order a bag of the rockwool fill cubes, but then I remembered that I have a whole box of slabs that were too big for my trays. So I can just cut them up instead. They should last me a few cycles because I'll only be using about half of a slab per tray.

I just ordered mist emitters with a higher gph and 10 more Dutch leach trays. The first lid was a prototype. V2.0 will have more windows that will allow me to view the chamber better. The trays are fairly thick, but the plastic is soft and easy to cut, so won't take very much work. From here on out I want to get my clones into the boxes to become as densely rooted as quickly as possible. Then once I put them into flower they will be able to hulk out unrestricted.

Also I realized that my tap water has fallen back to winter temperatures, so I started pouring a few buckets of hot water into the res when I refill it. I think that will help a lot. I have the environment locked in pretty well now. I need to lower it a little, but it's 79 degrees in the tents at 5:20am. It's 26 degrees outside and normally the temps would crash through the night. It's amazing that they never caught powdery mildew. So a heater plus automated vent fans is huge. I still need new lights, but there's not a whole lot left to upgrade after that.

Lastly I increased the Floraflex from 1g a gallon to 1.5-ish. I'm giving them 10 400ml water cycles and they don't seem to be drowning. I think I'll need to cut back a little after the stretch. I'm looking forward to using loose rockwool chunks instead of slabs. I don't think it will be possible to overwater, and I may be able to do more cycles while using less water overall.

They took a beating early on, but avoided getting worse. They are all short, but most of the bud is thick and dense. So it won't be a horrible yield.

The new plants are looking happy.

I have a nice spread going here. Not too dense/sparse, not too tall/short.

I also ordered an Inkbird thermostat controller because the one on my heater is way off. Plus I can hook up my AC the same controller so that they are never running at the same time.

I'm also about to order a GML 6 Bloom light.

I got my Inkbird thermostat and some Cannazym for my mothers. I ordered that GML light, and I'll probably grab a Spectrum King Phoenix after Christmas.

My current flowering plants look pretty much the same as a week ago, so I'm going to start chopping them down this week. A few of them have some time left, which is fine because my next round of clones haven't even rooted yet.

I discovered that my heater doesn't automatically turn back on when the power gets tripped, so the Inkbird controller is only working the AC. I'm in the middle of a deal with a lady to buy one for $30 off of fb marketplace. Once I get everything setup I'll have an environmental symphony playing in my tents. Winter growing is the best.

Now I'm thinking about how I'm going to get the new light into the tent during flower. I let the plants get pretty tall. The biggest problem is a carbon scrubber hanging in that plot, but also srcrog frames / trellis nets. Not to mention the old light weighs like 200lbs and is hanging dead center above my plants. One false move and the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

I've been trying to figure out what to put at the bottom of my leach trays to prevent the loose rockwool for clogging up the drain channels, and I came across this. It's 6" which is the size of the trays. Perfect!

I'm going to line my mothers' trays with it too. The rockwool cubes are 4" and don't sit in the trays very well.

Thanks. I'm not going to front, some of them are pretty banged up. The winter crossover was brutal on them. Getting a heater and lowering the EC was a good move. The EC has been around 1.2 to 1.0 and I'm not seeing any toxicities or decencies with newer plants.

I also think the Pool Shock is helping. I was seeing deterioration of the roots a few weeks after the flip during the last few grows, but this new batch are all still white and extended. Once I setup the next Appalachian Mountain Mist Boxes and use loose rockwool, I think I'm going to have a beast of setup. The row of plants with the prototype box are all doing really well.
