almost any scholarly work is available to read free.

I'm not even talking about that, either. I am for amassing standing, Capital. The ideas are I'm sure are captivating, but I can give a boatload of the opposite opinion, I care not what the subject is. It's just opinion. The right of the author to sell opinion is not abridged in my mind to criticize the title. I no longer read these opinions nor do I write them any more.
I manufacture what I see as really going on to me. And to you and all my forum mates, I prefer to hear that. Personal experiences of how all these theories can or cannot play. Observational and real.
And you surely don't want me inundating this forum with anything but my own ideas, I hope. (of course, quotes, to make a point are the quintessential of discuss and debate. I think.
It's best if, we leave, "listen to me, or I shall solve it, and worse "here is the ANSWER..." at home. And .sig can be anything. Name calling is juvenile. I've been know to play that, too.
So, I say, in general, whole books or videos, etc offered with sort of, "read this and see what I mean", is not clear discussion, and I hope I refrain from that. One could offer a text or a page even for discussion.
And I could write a book, I'm sure. And You can steal it.
And if you are not after clear discussion I can love you for other reasons and purposes.

asking for or being offered a reference source (a book scholarly article, whatever) does not reduce discourse, it enhances it.
some members of this forum are woefully ignorant of the BASIC information needed to discuss a topic as complex as political theory, and some really do want knew ideas. suggesting a book, author or thinker to the inquisitive, or asking for a reference for more information or confirmation of a claim is at the heart of civilized discussion.
the lack of knowledge on the nature of Communism, Socialism, and Marxism in general is why i recommend everyone read the Communist Manifesto. if abandonconflict, godhere and troncoche actually READ this book they will hopefully recognize the simple fact that they are advocating Marx's ideals and using Marx's own rhetoric while still claiming to be "anarcho-_______ists" or "Libertarian-___________ists" or whatever new fancy branding becomes popular next week.
Likewise, Rob Roy suggested i read Spooner, and i did. Spooner was unconvincing to me, but im still glad i read his works, since now i see where Rob is coming from. i dont have to agree with Rob, and Rob doesnt have to agree with me, but i recognize the perspective he is representing, and hopefully he recognizes mine.
and then theres the Moonbats.
this class of dolt thinks posting ANY link or referencing ANY respected thinker, political figure, or famous person automatically give their position credence and currency, even if the article, speech, book, quote, or pamphlet referenced is diametrically opposed to the claims being made. Much like anyone who references "ISIS dot Org" for any reason but comedy. More citiations (to your own work for fuck's sake) does nothing but create the illusion of consensus or support for your claims, and the mad citers just assume nobody will read all that shit, so why not post a link to ANYTHING to bolster your citation list. (like references to the 1974 yippie pot growing manual Bush Doctor as proof that Monsanto and UC Davis are trying to make Super Fusarium to kill your dope despite the fact that Bush Doctor simply MENTIONS Fusarium Leaf Wilt as a potential problem for dope growers, and offers suggestions to recognize and combat it)
i never object to the offering of pertinent supporting data, nor take exception to requesting it. it shows people are thinking.

MARKET FOR LIBERTY and HEALING OUR WORLD are likely available as audio books on line., I'll see if I can find a link. I tend to like old school book reading so give me a day or two to find a source.
