Man.. what the hell am I doing..

Hi.. so I'm in a panic because I'm trying to save and grow these plants without any pre-existing knowledge of what in the mother fuck to do. More dots? MORE DOTS!

Me and the S/O were talking about growing, I had some seeds, she decided to toss them into the back yard. All of them. So they sprout, and I realize that I'm out of time and I have to do something with them or lose them. So I started this thread. Which lead me to this thread.

I got a box and brought it inside. It's got lights and that's about it. I've got an unusual grow with the plants going on and I'm sort of at a loss at what to do. I'm just making sure they're watered, and the lights are on a cycle. I had them on 20/4 for like 4 weeks because I'm a retard. But here's where I'm at. I want an irrigation system and I have to build a quick ventilation solution for the box which is just a frame covered with a comforter. It's ghetto, but that's why I'm sorta in a panic. The fucking asshole at Lowes was instructed to cut every piece precisely in half, and.. well he didn't. So not a single 2x4 was equal in length.. makes for a really fucking off grow box.

So, I don't know.. I think I'm in pretty good shape considering that I was thrown into researching everything at the last second.

EDIT: Using 48" GE Daylight flouros, no irrigation system, tap water, no ph consideration, uuhhhh... and no ventilation.. yet. So. Throw me a frickin bone.

I meant to ask what I should do next. I think I'm nute burning them, and I need to get distilled water, and an air filter and air flow. Other than that we're on a 18/6 schedule now. Is 12/12 used for flowering? And how many weeks in typically?

I'll give you some of my answer's to my growing experience.

Those white dots over there my friend, might be Spider Mites, what you can is get a wet sponge and wipe it daily, hoping that the problem will remain small instead of BIG. Get a fan and some ventilation for it.

check under you leaves for mites. if you see them give them some good old neem oil, or tobacco jucie

Well they are because they came from a really bad growing situation. The light was fixed like a foot and a half above them. Should I use the SCroG thing I keep reading about? I don't know if that applies to me or if it's too early to put the plants under that stress..

And when will I be able to tell the sexes? I know what to look for (I think.)

get more light closer to the plants for one.... you can start to scrog if you want...... and you should see sex from 1-3 weeks after you start 12/12

i think u mean LST Scrog is liek a sea of green with a screen over top. since they are so streached id say low stress training will do it. just remember to take her easy. i snapped a plant in half a few days ago from doing this but some tape and 4 days and she fixed herself. goodluck!

just stick the lights you have like within 2inchs of the plant,if you got or can find a old computer.rip the fan outta of it..or just place a fan facing outwards so its blowing out of the box...on top of the box..that will deal with the heat. thats the curling upward you see.
them leaves are normal..just bad growing conditions thats why the leafs look funny.
you can grow it just fine without worrying about ph..for that matter
and as far as nutes go...mix it 1/4 strength or less and work your way up...its always better to under fert them..than it is to over fert them..once you notice how much they can take..u can work it up from there..
hope it all works out for ya..and if ya need anything..im great at ghetto grows..
100 bucks for a aerogarden..or 30 bucks for the same thing,with a 5 gallon bucket,a mister.fishtank airpump..
look up the cannabis grow bible online..everything u need to know will be there..u can even download it..

Haha, right on. I definitely wish I'd been able to sprout these from the beginning properly. We found an aerogarden in the garage but just the unit, and since the plants had already taken root I had to transplant them and separate them so I couldn't grow them.

I'll grab a sponge and clean the mites off and I've got a shop fan (2'x2') but I'm guessing that's a little TOO much movement, right?

Thanks for the tip about the curling leaves. These girls were outside and the humidity here can get obscene.

I'll look up LST, but in the mean time if I go ScrOG I can just grab some wide fish net and clip it down? Or tape?

And should I even bother trying to do an irrigation thing? I've got a friend who works at an aquarium store and he showed me all the different air stones and CO2 pumps and shit. Hydro growing is fucking cheap as balls man.. =/ Wish I could transplant these into a hydrosystem.
