With my current grow, I wanted to try something new. Still in my learning process. I picked a 4x4 for this round to try my hand at a proper trellis grow. Nice and full.

My current 27”x27” tent will be moving over for this tent. My little cloning lab will have to relocate as well.

The driver will remain in the tent for now to supplement heat. I rather use a heater at the plants level as a last ditch effort. I've had the leaves hit the heater before, and it wasn't cute. Lost a big fan leaf off a 4 week old plant. Light will start off at 25% 24" above the tops, and will be moved down, or the dimmer will be raised as we grow.

Thanks. The whole transition into the bigger tent has been quite the challenge with such restriction on space. I made it work tho. turned out better than I had originally predicted.
Ive hadn't been in a tent either till recently (4x4 also) and out grew it height wise. So made 4x4 of my own next to it but have 8' ceilings.

Don’t forget buddy you can remove that driver and place it lower down for additional heat help if you need it.

it’s something I’ve toyed with doing with my driver on my FCE3000.

When I redesign my scrog screen to incorporate a stand for my plants and drip tray etc I will have enough floor space to be able to move the driver to the floor should I need to for additional heat.

With the driver mounted to the light most of the heat is going straight up and then out of your filter/fan etc.

just a thought.

will you have more fans for canopy above and below? no offense, but I'd remove those 2 little ones in the back now, they wont do a damn thing when that tent is late in full flower when air flow is very important. use em in your seedling/clone area.

what works for my 4x4 is a 12" hurricane mounted to vertical pole above canopy and 9" honeywell below canopy, both oscillating.

can also put two layers of netting in now, secure with zip ties and then slide them up out of the way. when ready to drop em down after flip its much easier than trying to be gogo gadget across a 4x4. i set the top net layer about 10" above the lower when i drop them down. holds the buds from falling over.

happy growin! :blsmoke:

That’s an awesome idea to move the driver down. There’s enough slack in the wiring to get it there. I did put a slim radiator in the back of the tent, and that’s hooked up to a digital thermostat with a probe. I am getting ready to move the driver, but it’s going into the roof to make it easier for me to lower temps in late flower. You’re input will not go to waste here tho :D I have clones in a 27x27 tent with a ts1000 that I can use the extra heat down below. Thank you for that valuable piece of info.:bigjoint:

That pole holding the small fans can move up or down. I am going to have 4” fans in all 4 corners, already have a good fan underneath the net that oscillates the air flow. If they don’t get too tall I’ll going to hang a tower fan horizontally blowing over the canopy. The small fans there may just blow in between the 2 nets after the stretch. They also have an inline speed controller on it so that’s a plus. I can just have it blow a soft breeze into the jungle to be.
