I can say, I was driven homophobic by underage girls. I was also under age, and those Jr. Texas Twisters were methodical and diabolical.

It took me a long time to understand it. It wasn't that I was afraid of being gay, I had been traumatize by the gentler sex. I think it is quite usual.

But, the key is that is has nothing to do with being afraid of being. It is being afraid of being seen as gay, not by men, by da' bitchis.
