90-150w is more of a best-bang-for-your-buck sweet spot. The lower the watt the higher the efficiency all the way down.
Yea i Was looking at running the CXB3590's 72v on a 1.4a or getting the citizen 1818's and running them around the same. I am aware of the efficiency with lower amperage, and i want to be in the middle so to speak. my issue is I want to use a heat sink that is pre-tapped and will handle the heat passively if possible.

it's not the Gen 3. and its limited to 4k and 5k cct on that site for what they have, but thank you for helping. From what i'm reading on there data sheet:
http://www.luminus.com/products/Luminus_XnovaCXM32-GEN3_Datasheet.pdf
these COB's are the latest tech and cheaper, brighter and more efficient.

If someone wants to buy 300 (for over £7000) I think we could muster a group buy?! Haha

Ive emailed them to see if I can find a ETA. Happy to buy extra to sell in a group buy if it makes it cheaper and they're worth getting over the impending citizen drop and any others im unaware of
