Think I've finally got my design worked out for this single plant 5 gallon bubbleponics (going to actually try to make a feeder tube) bucket with a 5 gallon (recirculating) reservoir on the out side of my tent..

I'll post some pictures of my failed drip system attempt later on, maybe some more minds thinking on how to make it work is what I need! ... Maybe I just need to actually buy a pump from the hydro store instead of one from wal-mart and rigging it up..

Back to work on the test system

Here's my Idea about my bubbleponics buckets...

Red arrows indicate water flow direction

Valve is for easy maintenance, There will also be one attached to the top line(forgot to put it in drawing)
I like the remote reservoir concept, and I think you're right about the pumps made for hydro. I've looked at others - made for small waterfalls and lizard tanks, and they just don't compare. Good luck on that :leaf:

Well to start things off.. I stayed up all nice once again due to not being able to sleep.. this f***ing blows..

HOWEVER!

I got everything pretty much set up..
BUT! Having the pump in the reservoir and running the feeder tube to the bucket is eventually making the grow bucket over flow..

So I've decided to move the pump into the grow bucket, attach a 1/2" tubing to the exhaust of the pump where it will be capped off on the end, then put a "T" fitting on the end of that to run my 1/4" feeder tube (which will have a 4gph drip nozzle attached to, NEED some help on that, too much flow?) to the net pot.

The reservoir is now passive, I'll be adding a separate air pump + air stone(s) to keep the water oxygenated and non stagnant.

I think this should work, Probably someone has thought of this and done it already with success... But I like to go buy a bunch of stuff get home and figure out what I can do with it, for some reason it's more satisfying in the end..

Think I've got my DIY Bubbleponics system figured out the way I want it to run, Just have to put it back together and test it for a period longer than 20 min to make sure I'm not going to flood my house!

Well the ladies are looking rather nice! Starting to fill out pretty quick, and getting REALLY frosty! Well.. Pictures say it all!

Close ups are big

Rest are thumbs (see below)

Enjoy!:joint::joint::joint::joint:

Thanks GC!

This camera has the super macro setting on it which I can pretty much set the lens on what I want to snap a picture of, needless to say, don't move a muscle or it turns out blurry :wall:

Nothing special about it, I just love how it turned out, and the pink accents in the hairs really show good!

Hey twils i wanted to get your opinion on how close these two plants are. I feel I have been harvesting too early and any suggestions would help. The first eight pictures are of one plant and the last five are of the other. Oh yeah both plants are on day 57 of flower.

Thank you my friend!

Right now I'm using an Olympus SP-55OUZ (was one of the top 3 cameras of 2007 my wife tells me)

Link to more info on it here:

I'd like to end up getting a camera that shoots HD some day though... I could have some fun with that!
