12/12 Day 47

Today was their last feeding with base and bud boosters. In 2-3 days I will just add water to them to dilute the nutes in the dry pot to slowly start the flushing process. On about day 53 they will be hit with RO/ clearex until day 58-62. These are just some rough estimated times so I can make time in my schedule on when to do what, please feel free to let me know if you'd do it any different.

Besides all the problems, the HG is swelling up and becoming super frosty. I can only imagine how it would be if it actually devoted all its energy to making bud.

OG Kush is still swelling up but it has slowed down quite a bit. It looks like primo medicine. Just hope it isn't preggers.

I went overkill on the fans and added 3 of em under the canopy to recirculate air. The PM is under good control, I think I can pull of 2 weeks without a doubt.

I still spot bananas here and there on the himalayan gold, although not like before, it is just impossible to find them all. I tell you I truly despise cross dressing plants.

The only strain I gave them was a bit high on nutes, the problem arose before the nutes got too high though.

I am quite certain this is bad genetics from Green House Seeds. I did tell the person I got these from that the Himalayan Gold from GHS has been cross dressing on a lot of folks, I got kind of a shady reply. Anyhow after reading about HG from the breeder, it seemed very appealing, so when I got my hands on it, I didn't wanna turn it down. I was thinking positive that there is still a good chance these bitches might not herm, turns out they did. Oh well, at least now I can sleep in peace knowing that this HG was bullshit, and I didn't just pass up on something crazy.

Besides the cross dressing HG grows like a beast. Huge colas.

From my personal experience stay away from Himalayan Gold from Green House Seeds. Other fellow growers have been having some bad luck with some GHS strains as well, they probably do have good stuff, but for the future I will only go for a breeder that puts out only top notch stuff. As good as SnowWhites grow was, his SSH turned out to be his least favourite because everything was good in the grow so it is def bad genetics for that one too, some other folks have been having trouble with the GHS SSH as well.

I hear ya. I havent had seeds from enough breeders to have any input. I will say that my and others experience with Nirvana seems to be pretty stable strains. I have had hermie issues which I would say are due to genetics however I do not know the exact breeder they came from(given to me by a friend). Bummer, learn from experience. Hold onto those genetic you love........

BUUUMP nice dude, well for a first grow you've had a couple of the normal pitfalls and coped well with them. your next lot will be better, but not to take anything away from this lot^^^ still a very impressive first grow.

looks like a great harvest for the space and light bender. have you germed your new beans yet?

Here are some solid instructions

1. Get money(Your desired method)
2. Spend some solid time researching your chosen techniques and equipment
3. Purchase equipment
4. Start journal on RIU
5. Execute Phase 2

Its a lot less steps to grow like me, however many more steps to grow like Wonder's vertical set-up.

Do as WBlunder said.
Research is key, enough research and you should have a really good first grow.

Thanks Donny. As much as I hated these problems, they have been a very good learning experience.

I am still happy with the grow so far, if I can get the drying and curing right. I am pretty nervous about the whole drying part. I am kind of over thinking a bit.

My babies are already vegging for the next grow. As I mention in the post earlier. It will be 2x blue dream, 2x OG, 2x Casey Jones.

I have to wait till I have some space to pop the beans since my veg is already going.
