Hey RIU,
I've been doing a little research on Juicing Cannabis, but it is mainly Juicing the leaves that I have been seeing and reading about. Similar to taking a wheat grass Shot.
My question is for my Aunt and myself.
I am in sales and cannot function properly while traditionally medicating (smoking, vaping, edibles). I get back pain and tightness, broke my hip when I was 20 and my leg a couple of years ago. I was a cash patient and the doctors told me that I didn't need surgery. So I was lucky there, but every once in a while my back or my neck goes out and it takes two weeks for it to get back to normal. I try as hard as I can to not take pain killers, I prefer cannabis because it helps and doesn't have a physical addiction.
My aunt has MS and gets dizzy spells. She has trouble walking etc. Do a quick search on MS and you will see all the different things that they go through. My aunt is a firm believer in natural healing and I think that is why she has gone 12 years since a real MS episode. However she still has trouble walking. As with anybody with MS she has good and bad days.
Cannabis helps her on the weekends but she has the same issue I do which we cannot be baked while at work because we cannot function properly.
My question is:
Is there a way to medicate without getting baked? As in can I get the back and pain relief that is needed without being so stoned or still being able to talk to customers.
Also, I am interested in any links that relate cannabis to MS. I really hate seeing my aunt struggle with walking. If I can find some study, any study that shows a positive result (especially when it comes to walking) it would make her day. She is willing to try pretty much whatever but I need to believe that it will work and I will be guinea pig before giving her anything.
I hope all of this came out clear.
Thanks in advance RIU!!!
