I know what you mean. I have had autovalves and blumats both stick open and water on the floor. Just really important to check every day. I have only been using Megacrop since the end of December

For sure, blumats are way cheaper, and there are all kinds of extensions that can be added so one carrot covers a wider area. If a guy gets them dialed in perfect they work great. Just need to play around with them

Think i'll be okay in the res? Algae killer? If it kills/eats crap in the res why not kill the plants too. Or affect the nutes?
I know it's enzymes. Would they eat the beneficials in the Coco medium as well degrading the soil?
Do you still use it on your groin?
 
Did you try this yet Hippy? I think I had decided against it because it contained photoreceptive bacteria, and my res is covered and dark. Anyways I found with the Southern AG I don't have to change my res as often or ever actually I just keep adding fresh solution when it gets 50% low. Also I found yield was better with it than without it.
 
I just wanted to pop in and say i love Megacrop. It is my favorite nutrient of all time so far. I have never had it work so simply and everything is green and loving it

I am using MC exclusively and some Bud Explosion in flower (autopots, handwater and bubble buckets). all working out great with the same strength

About 600 PPM at baby stage and moved it up to 1100 or so as they went into flower.

Started at 10 grams per 5 gallon bottle then 15 20 and now 22 and 5 grams of bud explosion. In each stage for every plant so far. The discolouration at the back was a plugged auto pot line causing it to dry. It is rebounding tonight !DSCF1221.JPG
 
It might have been MC or it might have been coco and roots. It was on the last fitting before the autovalve 10 feet from the rez. I will keep my eye on it.

Do you run 1/2" lines w/ 1/2-1/4" tees ?
I've had megacrop plug lines every other week since I started using it with my 16 autopots and a few blumats

man, strain it before you put in res. mack concentrated batch, let sit for 20 mins, ( 2-3 actually ) and then strain it with a fine strainer or cheese cloth if its giving you problems bro/.
