New to growing here and just learning everything as I go. I’m running 6 SF2000 in a 8x10 sealed shed. Also have 2 SF2000 in a 4x4 Veg tent. I sure hope these things last as I’m sure I’ve wasted too much $$$ on these. So far I’ve-had them running for 2 months. I do like the build/design of these lights. They do not put off much heat.
excellent, but why do you have them so far away from the plants? It looks like they are racheted, so you can bring them a lot closer then raise them when needed

Yes they where for this pic as I just installed two more lights. They are now sitting at 20” from plants. Was more for the picture perspective.

WARNING !!!!!!!
Do not buy MEIZHI or SPIDER FARMER

So what has happened?
Well I’m a supplier or LED grow lights..
Last year I sourced
45 x 1200w MEIZHI
12 x 600w MEIZHI
4 x Spider farmer

All these are made by a company called LG-LED solutions ltd in China, and sold on eBay and Amazon by hydroponicselleruk@hotmail.co.uk or hydroponicseller.de or Spider Farmer

They run out of a rented office in Manchester with no direct contact possible.

The lights were distributed to 4 different locations.

Every single light failed within 6 months of purchase, but they were sold with a 3 year warranty. 1 year replacement and 2 years parts replacement.

After several emails regarding the failures MIEZHI finally sent 14 second hand drivers for us to replace (even though they promised new) and charged us carriage!
This did not fix the issues, they then ignored emails for several months until the lights were out of the first year warranty, and after threatening legal action they then told us that parts were no longer available!!

So now we are left with £15,000 worth of lights that do not work, all efforts to contact MEIZHI via eBay, amazon and email are now being ignored.
The failure rate on these Chinese lights is just shocking.

So please, before you buy anything from MEIZHI or SPIDER FARMER I urge you to think twice. The lights will fail, and you will not get any warranty on them at all.
For anyone interested I have copies of all the communications and lots of pictures of the failed lights..
well that just your fault buddy why on earth would you buy so many without a sample of 5-10 lights first to test out i work in a hydro shop and thats what we do before any purchase

Sorry, wish I could help but I have never used them for veg, only for flower. Finally got most of my other lights that I am building tested, so the SF1000's will have some good company on the next grow, and i'm definitely going to need some CO2, what would be the best option for a small tent? Time for more research, yay...….
EDIT: and so far after 5 minutes of research, looks like CO2 in a tent with massive ventilation like i have is a waste

If I I had 4 sf1000. A pound should be fairly doable. I'm trying for atleast 4 oz of 1 sf1000
I consider myself pretty lucky to have got 25 oz last time with the 4. I'm going to be happy with 16 this time. That would only need to be 2oz per plant.....ok I think i'll get more than that but I wont be too disappointed unless it is under that. Really looking forward to setting up the new lights after harvest and cleaning. The 4 SF1000's will be less than half of it

You can pull half pound off one SF1000, there is a youtuber who does it regular.
I'm on the second run with my spider farmer and so far so good.
Every time i look at the light i wonder why i ever bothered with hps!

Glad I found this thread. I purchased six Meizhi 1200w LED fixtures over a period of about a year and a half. Every single one of them has failed within a year of purchasing. All six lights have about 1/3-1/2 of the LEDs burnt out.

It looks like Meizhi has closed up shop on Ebay. There's no way to contact them about getting the lights repaired. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of nonworking lights taking up way too much room. Don't know whether to try to sell them on craigslist or take them to the dump. Any suggestions?
