FRom my understanding the major problem with these types of soil is the fact they come loaded with time released nutes. You have no control over what your feeding your plants. The stuff remains in the soil langer than most people would like to veg there plants, so when its time to flower your soil is loaded with the wrong levels of plant food and you cant flush the crap out.

i say yes very bad, all ive heard from it so far is that it gets it into blooming quicker and too fast.

Tis good, it's good bc it offers screened soil, so you are assured that the soils is free of disease/pests. it's worth it for the 3$ extra you pay.

imo, its worth it...

fuck who else here is high/drukkn

There's a guy on here called Dr.Greenhorn he's the Miracle Grow king!!! He loves this stuff and he grows some "show room quality plants".

On the real your better off getting a fert that's designed for cannabis. MG is a very "hot" fert. And alot of the time burns plants. The finish product is kinda harsh, ok really harsh. I took the huge step in spending money on FoxFarms soil nutes and I love them, I'm not impressed with there grow big though. Also super thrive is great stuff, super thrive is key for me (it's not part of foxfarms nute line)

well im just growing to save some money on personal, i smoke more than i can afford to buy haha
im not really concerned on if the bud is harsh or not, i just want them to survive long enough to get some good buds off them. will the miracle grow kill or burn my plants? shud i take it out or leave it?

Most people don't like the MG soil with the pellets because it's time-release and it's impossible to control what your plants are eating at each stage of growth. If the ferts are 15-30-15, having that much N around will also slow maturation and cost you bud in the end. So even if they look really green and healthy until the day you harvest, your plants aren't producing as much as they could and on top of that the weed will be harsh and not burn properly since you can't flush properly before harvest.

It might be useful for outdoor grows, but I know it's not going anywhere near my plants.

The 'organic' potting mix doesn't have the pellets. I used some i had gotten for the backyard for some clones once and it was the worst thing i've grown weed in and came complete with a spider mite infestation. If you do use the stuff, cut it down with perlite (it's very thick!) and start adding nutes early.

Coco and liquid nutes are better and cheaper in the end since you can reuse the coco and only have to restock on ferts.

Black gold is pritty good soil but a little to heavy for my likeing, I like somthing more peatmoss based but that's just me. I have used miracle grow "potting soil" (not to be confused by "potting mix") when I was younger to start off my seeds in one gal. Pots and they wuld do great. They grow big tall and healthy I wuld us no ferts at all just water. I thought that was the best way to grow not very harsh at all I think the nutes wuld all be used up by harvest time. That's the best way for someone to grow who dosent have any growing experience in my opinion. Or just plant it in the ground.

Also organic ferts are great for beginers because it's hard to over fertalize. As for those plant fertalizer spikes, get that crap out of there. If your going to use miracle grow dilute it by half so those singles packets, use 2 gallons of water per packet instead of one. And I'm telling you not to us MG period. That just if you have too.

well, the bag of soil says ''it feeds your plants up two 3 months'' so, people plant may die by over feeding, some people doesnt read or see the 3 month feeding it offers

I only use MG soil an nutes.
And I love em.
But im a cheep bastard an have never tired big $$ nutes.

As long as you follow directions on the web site, its the best for the buck.
But its STRONG SHIT, go easy with it at first 1/4 strength for saftey around small plants an work it up to full power.
(1/4 stength for a week, then 1/2 for a week then full dose ect)
The MG allprupose an Bloom booster have micro nutes added.
The only thing I add is calcium an Humic acid.

I dont fertilize Much for the first 4-5 weeks cause of the nutes in the soil. After that i start seeing lack of Nito an yellow.
It dosent realy feed for 3 months.
The moisture control soil is Mostly coco coir i love it outdoors.

Miracle Grow is just fine as long as you control your watering....and I firmly agree that the alternative (expensive nutes) is costly and sometimes over-hyped. My first grow went good with MG and ORG MG....but you can't grow successfully with it unless you schedule & control watering............again, patience is the key to growing regardless what you usse.

The sticks you definitely want to stay away from. You can't control the dosage and it could burn your plants.
