Mites, and how to rid yourself of them..

I'm not constantly applying these products, I just said that's what I use to get rid of them and obviously the proof is in the pudding because I don't have mites. Cinnamon oil with water or eucalyptus soap are great preventatives that can be mixed with your foliar sprays, I don't see how they could hurt your plant in veg or early flower.

Its hilarious that you are an expert in pesticides after only using mighty wash once. I have years of experience and have actually tried all of these products. My garden is very clean, but when you work retail mites some how find their way.

sirkushalot. although we all appreciate your info, it isn't like we are attacking you. I just wanted to know if you could taste the mighty wash on the buds like you can the neem oil. I will try the cinnamon oil and water if I have that problem again. My sister just died of cancer and her favorite thing to say to me was "Don't be a Hater!!!!"

I don't have mites either. What's your point? That you're the expert because you work in retail? Is that supposed to make people submit and agree with whatever you say? Well guess what, most guys that work in hydroponics stores are know-it-alls that don't know shit. You throwing around the fact that you work in retail in almost every thread you post in isn't going to get you some kind of undeserved respect. You come on here talking about how Mighty Wash is a waste of money and there are much cheaper ways to get rid of mites but yet............ you use it. You're a walking contradiction, stick to the hydro store selling snake oil to noobs.

Think about what you posted up above about people replying in the same manner in which you post, and then see if you can figure out why people smack you upside the head on here whenever they get the chance.
 
Don't be like that Buddy. My offering is peace. Go burn one and think about how you can be a better person this year. I think you skipped that little part last year, but we all have a fresh start now. Yippppiiiiiieeeeeeeeeee. :-P

Ha ha ha plus rep.. buddy calls me a troll all the time,so I guess I'll do some trolling and unlike his comments. Why don't you just have these personal pissing matches with people through PMs instead of in a public forum.

You'd have to be a grower to know about growing or growing problems to have anything to offer other growers.
 
I still have potatoes from my garden. Parsnips are just getting sweet rite now. Im growing some hot ass chilies that will toast any bug.

Here is a home remedy :

Having trouble with mites and tired of paying for shit that doesn't work and kills off the plant ?
Try this then, it is made from everyday house hold items, and if you don't have one or two of them, the lot can be bought for under $10 and will last for a long long time.

- Gather 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 drops dish detergent & 1/4 teaspoon epsom salt. Take one cup of hot water to dissolve epsom salts and pour into a clean 2 liter container with the rest of the ingredients. Add water to fill to 48 ounces (a 2 liter bottle will be 3/4 full) and shake well. Put into a spray bottle and cover your soil/medium with plastic. With the lights off, mist the plant all over concentrating on the underside of leaves. Wait 20 minutes and sprits off with clean fresh water, shaking as much water off the plant as you can. Solution is alkaline and rinsing is important in order to remove mites and eggs, and to prevent the solution from burning the plant leaves. Test on a small portion of the plant and wait 24 hours to observe before dousing the whole thing. If you see plant damage, dilute with more plain water and test again.
 
with all the arguing, I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or real. if it is real, where do you come up with this info? I think I will stick to the Mighty Wash!!!

The homemade remedy is very real and it's been around for a long time...
I too plan on sticking with Mighty wash but received a mail asking why there were no natural or organic solutions offered so I posted one..
