i rebuilded my striplight, containing 56 EB3 slim bridgelux strips, 3000k 80cri.
Killed some connectors during this action, their release mechanism can be a pain.
Anyway, it works!
The new frame is 80x80cm (31,5x31,5 inch) 20x20 t-slot profile, hung on all 4 corners.
Its for a 3x3 and/or a 3.33x3.33 (1 suqare meter).
Driven by a HLG 320 2100B, the strips are 14S 4P.
Maxing out the driver nicely with 153V at the strips.
Theyre mounted by 3d printed adapters , M3 nuts and nylon washers.
This will also isolate the strips from the frame.
The temparature of the strips are reaching just about 44 C @ 525mA with some low airflow, temps will be even better in flower when your fans are all running full.
This is meassured by a thermal cam, so should be realtive precise compared to these IR guns.
back of the strip
thermals where meassured after about 1h runtime.
30cm (ca. 12 inch) away i meassure about 55-60k lux.
Benefits are:
- efficient,according to the datasheet @ 700mA 187 l/w, i use 525mA only, so should be slightly above 187 (on paper).
- driver nicely utilized, ampere kept low
- wide n even spread
- modular, other colors can be added easily
- no heatsink needed
- lightweight, can be handled with ease
- nice price
- build fun
next ill add some color strips on seperate channels to play arround.
48 660nm leds, driven by a HLG 40 driver / or 72 660nm by a 60W HLG.
12 730nm leds
12 360-370nm leds
all on custom made strips, i am in to soldering.
I keep you updated and hope you like it
