complicated :D.
from the head boron defficiency may more applies to hydro as there is always some boron in the soil?
i dont play much with micros, rely on whats in my base mix, i mixing only quite small batches and its so easy to overdo.
think ive read a liter boron acid is good to treat a acre :o of soil, hard to dose for me.

What counts is getting your combination dialled in, (and everyones situation is different). Its clear from your updates that what you are doing is working really well - and that is what counts.

youre right, the 5-20-30 is doing me well.
would like to know if it make sense for me to change to another basesalt at the end of flower, more K.
basically to know if i need to buy more bags then one, or simply run all with one basesalt.
wont be able to find out i fear.

in to my first run with chips, so far so well.
do like perlite, its so freakin neutral, but dont like the dusty bags in the kitchen.
chips seem to really work well as a replacement and give the needed aereation.
could be i will stick to chips, or a mix of chips and finegrain.

should be end of week 7 now, switched beginning this year.

went lower with the wattage, a good 180W in total plus some UVA, where i increased the hours now.
pigmentation recovered mostly and i think i helps to get ripe tops.

1-2 weeks maybe, reducing nitrgoen heavily now.

other tent, about day 21

this pheno tends to develop tons of quite even sized buds.

thanks kOa, dont think one can go so wrong with such a stripbuild, didnt encountered a problem so far.
theyre solid, even they dont look like it.
have no overview about recent prices, especially from china, future electronics offering seems to be very fair.

i say about a week left on these.
swelling good atm, some bending over.

went even lower with the wattage and theyre on tap water from now.
the tap is rich in calcium and sulfate (gypsum) ...and its simply the way easiest way to feed them, a tad RO on the end maybe, et voila.
smell is allready incredible, heavy stinkers, real heavy.
a little fade would be nice, lets see, if not no big deal.

just curious to see if one year .... people doing veganic on cannabis ...using your lights for various grows (maybe Kyle Kushman....)...or other wall to wall or modern led grow lights... any veganic feed led grower here?....

I've been veganic for the last year. I made one batch of my own supersoil with DTE Vegan mix + BAS pinto bean compost. since then I just use the BAS Light mix which is vegan and ammend with EWC between rounds. my reasoning was bc my son has a compromised immune system and I wanted to eliminate any guanos or manure from my grow since I grow indoors and they can be a pathogen source. there are a lot of other benefits but that was my deciding factor.

all went pretty flawless, even where able to give them a good 1000ppfd at the tops for a time.
i let them ripen at hardly 160W in total, increased the UVA for a final push.
on tap water since about a week, now on RO water.

other tent is doing well too, but i got some bleaching problems.
i ramped up too high too early me guess, over 900 at the tops they didnt liked.
temps where high reaching almost 30C, CO2 was also quite high peaking over 1000 (but was not consistent).

always impressed by the sheer amount of well sized buds when i open the tent.
this pheno simply like to throwing buds.

thanks, kind of a offseason :), trying to get a bit outdoor atm as we have some summer going.
last yield was great, jars are quite full.
just have one old mother flowering right now.
really could have cared better for her.
P1040982.JPG
nothing spectacular, but i guess it will keep my jars filled.
have to fight a higher humidity level atm and hope i dont get any rot like last times (where RH where always fine, means below 60%).
P1040981.JPG
some gnats (BTIed them allready) and i should have prunned better... needs more cleanup prob.
P1040980.JPG
Week 5-6 i think, smelling lovely.

good you reminded me to check my plants.
they where just at 500-600ppfd at the tops, 115W 3000K mainlight, 15W 660nm Red.
went now to 150W total for this 3x3, may raise it a bit more.
tops are showing about 750ppfd now.
will introduce them to some UVA also later in flower, havent so far... may should.

so here we are 2 months after initiating flower.

gave less light then i wanted to give, in the end it just had been a 83kWh for this 2 months for the mainlight.
8kWh for the 660nm and 1kWh for the UVA, 365nm in this case.
Most time she saw only 130W during flower, 3000K mainlight 114W average (83kWh, 61 days, 12h).
Only 600ppfd max at the tallest top, most are more like 400ppfd, corners way lower.
Am a bit closer then i would like to be, with the fixture 3 inch max from the tallest cola,
even using a mass of softly driven leds , a certain distance is better to achieve a nice even soup of light.
The tent isnt very tall, she stretched quite a bit and gave some pretty thick donkey dicks in the middle, so i ran a bit out of space, height wise.

P1040994.JPG

looks like she have 2 more weeks to go, shes a 10 weeker.
So far, well, even for the lowlight, not so bad.

P1040995.JPG
smell is great.
P1040998.JPG
some colas are quite thick, no complains there.
P1040996.JPG
lots of the cloas are bending over, a second net would had been good this time.
a few i stabilized a bit, most i didnt.

P1040997.JPG

have a nice weekend.

here we are today.
sadly some rot is kicking in, didnt had these on the last runs with this pheno.
had a humidity of over 60 in the room for longer now.... next time i let the dehumdifier run more.
not really sure what to do, they could need a few more days till some amber.
so far it just had been one cola, as far i saw...
