True but im at lat 56 ish and widow flowers too late unless you got a quick pheno here i find
Auto flower genes cut a couple weeks off of my Iranian/NL/Blue Cheez, it's completely done at <65 days.
The Iranian semi auto was horrible creosote terps, unsmokeable, harsh and nasty but early. Worst tasting pot I ever had, creosote flavor!

Blue Cheez mom & (Iranian x NL) dad. The seeds popped up in mid march after getting tossed in the snow in January, ground was still frozen underneath them.

That turned into amazing complex blueberry smoke full of purple sap, just a lucky pollen chuck.

Huge vigorous seeds (2x the size of reg), early finish, super potent, frost resistant, sativa type buds, flips weeks faster, finishes fast.
I'm all done looking, just sorting for spring. :D
I usually pop some autos as well for a different harvest dates, never know when the humidity will spike for weeks.

I heard that Platinum Kush breath remix is very mold resistant. I read a story a while ago on here and a guy was growing some plants outdoors, he said all of his plants got powdery mildew, but there was 1 plant he had that was platinum kush breath remix and it never got powdery mildew. The seeds are expensive though. About $300 dollars a pack!

im looking for a decent strain that can handle fairly cold weather and doesnt go moldy from days of rain.
east coast canadian here. just want a decent strain i can get the most of for outdoors.
Anything with smaller buds like cookies strains.

Feed silica the whole time and keep em warm and air moving... should be fine

I have a R2 x Kushberry (peakseeds) cross that I made 3 years ago if... in Canada..... I ran some inside and out to see how they'd do . Some finished August 25th - Sept 30.
The R2 seems to pass on some semi-auto traits in some of the offspring. This one finished end of August and did go out til mid June. This had the smell of R2 but Kush structured buds. Real neat cross for outdoors
@Kp sunshine had great success with the R2 semi auto genes too, gives the plant a nice sativa structure and turn to flower quick.

You have a cut of R2 that you use?
Used Getaway's Stumbleweed (R2 x Mr Nice Iranian) male, the female Stumbleweed plants were large, vigorous, super early and mold resistant, but creosote taste. ~68 days
Blue Cheese x Kush for female, ~65 days

It is a catch 22
The best mold resistant plants are Sativas and they are the least likely to finish in your general latitude

Yup you’re right. I’m in Nova Scotia and noticed some sativa dom go til almost November without any problems. I’ve also noticed most crosses with blueberry in it seem to be late but have good disease resistance

i got some kali mist going and didnt realize its 90% sativa. says 8-10 weeks but has on pack it can take upwards of 3 months to finish. i got a few strains laying around. kinda addicting just buying strains since they are in shops.

I’m just about 45N. We might stay warmer than you on the west coast but our bud gets rained on after the end of Sept! I had good luck with Wedding Cake and Purple Punch both finished by Oct 15th as in 15-20% Amber trichs.

I’ll second Oregon Green Seed! I’ve grown multiple strains from them, many of their strains finish the first week of Oct down into Mid September, another good strain that’s an earlier finisher and mold resistant is Oregon Desiel.
