Matthew 19:24

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Just sayin

money don't buy happiness.
thats why the kindom is coming. to them
the kindom has woken up as a whole.

"Can I buy some weed from you?"*

*Note: This is a joke I am not asking to buy weed from a person on the internet. Its a line from a movie. Which one I have no idea.

I think he is saying that because he doesn't actually know any rich people that are as caring about humanity as "the poor" that go to church. Rich people can be corrupted by temptation to do immoral things, almost like anyone else, but when you have a ton of money and you want to go run out and get sex with a hot woman, do blow, or something else, it seems like some rich people dig themselves deeper and deeper into corruption with their own bad habits and unlimited spending ability.
And that will get you a one-way pass to the gates of hell.

I became lazy and clipped it from Wiki.

The 'Eye of a needle' is a reference to a small opening in a city wall or a small door fixed to the city gate (opened after dark). The camel would have to striped of its bags and goods to fit though the opening. Hence the difficulty of the rich man.

This scripture is not in reference to the heresy that 'God will not save the rich'. By Christian belief, all things are possible through God

all i had to do was look at the high rates of graduates from India and China. looking for jobs and working jobs that they didnt go to school for.
it really doesn't take a genius to notice that or does it?

well i remember the SNL skit where will Ferrel was playing a rich man where he was trying to find an easy way to get a camel in a needle. He turned them in the liquid and poured them threw the eye of the needle. He said something like Some think this is cheating we're having our lawyers look in to it."

I think it was will ferrel

it's "carries"...

"y" often changes to "ies" when using in the plural sense.

actually, this thread is riddled with BAD spelling and grammar. the irony is killing me.
Well I will admit that I was a poor student. I'm not going to lie and say I had bad teachers. Also we are just talking shit on the internet. Is it really worth it? Just roll your eyes keep reading. I don't notice mistakes unless someone points them out. Unless you're a professional writer no big deal.

Only snl, lol. I loved the fish-o-matic.

I'm struggling to be better off and if I make I'd like to think I can still get in.

You do have to do good deeds. I had a boss that built a youth center from the ground up with a computer training center, fitness center, a/v center, training in the arts, all free to the kids. When it opened no one knew that he did it, everyone thought it was the city, his name never appeared in the paper. He does these things because his heart makes him. A true stand-up kind of MAN.

when people are bitching about things that a proper education may fix then i feel my comments are fitting.

most people won't see the humor in it all. a few of us will. :)

I agree about making good deeds, IMO that means giving something nice to complete strangers that don't have what I have, or even giving to some lesser-off friends is a nice charity in the eyes of God as well. I reference God in a friendly way, btw, because it is so easy to believe in a Big Fart that "materialized" all the planets and life as we know it from mysterious gases of nothingness because some "science" says that is the only way, but I still contend that humanity is very very treasured indeed and we were brought here. I know a lot of people are pissed off about God and choose not to believe because they subjectively feel wronged by God, because they don't have enough riches, or because their BROTHER HUMANS are persecuting the shit out of them.. The world is like a Rubix cube to me, and unlocking the perceived "disorder and chaos" will probably lead to a pretty picture ;)

i love how the story of "god" is supposed to be more believable then the "big bang theory".

you mockingly state "big fart", how about your "zombie" god. yeah, now that's believable.

you shouldn't mock those when your shit stinks just as bad.
