Monkeys or Aliens?

Even the basic building blocks of amino acids could have potentially arrived in a comet. The universe is full of all sorts of complex organic chemistry just floating around waiting for something to snatch it up. Nebulae filled with hydrocarbons, complex sugars, ethanol. Meteorites flecked with amino acids and who could forget the fuss over that martian meteorite!

What that suggests to me is that organic chemistry is everywhere. Since the comets contain that, what would be the conceptual barrier to the same chemistry happening spontaneously, without awareness or design, in the warm oceans of the young Earth? Imo ... none. cn

Correct me if i'm stoned but isn't there a missing link in the evolution of humans? Alien outcasts getting busy with monkeys? As believable as the origin of HIV.

There is no barrier in my eyes, in fact this is the most likely scenario. I guess it's the romanticism attached with the idea of the building blocks of life just travelling among the stars before being lucky enough to find a home. Whether it happened out in the depths of space or in a shallow puddle on earth they are both equally remarkable.

Since the advent of paleogenetics (a parallel and independent confirmation of the highlights of the fossil record) ... no. The very concept of a "missing link" has been dead for 70 years and has been kept alive only by evolution-scorning spin doctors. cn

Maybe we evolved from what Aliens left behind.
...or some alien stopped on earth, took a big dump, spilling his DNA everywhere, and we arose outta there.
i like this idea. because on earth shit turns to rich soil which is teaming with life. i think earth was their (the aliens) cosmic sewer but they didn't know we would come from all that shit. now we're 7 billion strong and we've become a problem. hahaha. fart.

I thought I caught something about brain size on ancient aliens. Not necessarily the missing link between monkeys and man (fossils that have been found), but the inability to explain rapid evolution of human intelligence between two steps in the current evolutionary blueprint. Thanks for clearing it up ^^

Its a result of cooking food

surprisingly i agree with your statement

cooking food releasing alot of the nutrients and compounds locked in the raw food

take a look at the eating habits of people across the world

their are places where dairy is a complete meal almost because of the essential tie to the cow\

and their are places where they had no dairy producing animal and their bodys cannot digest it

can you think of many other species that drink the milk of another species?

it was about 30 feet away. I was in my car going to a bowling ally at first i thought it was a chopper spotlighting me. after a closer look and rolling the window down I knew something was messed up. I slammed the breaks and it did also so I floored it pedal to the medal and it did also. The craft matched my speed perfectly no lagging at all. Then I realized it was reading my mind.
That's awesome. When did they give up?

Anyway, i've heard of monkey evolving theories and i've heard of alien theories but this is the first time i've heard a combination of both. It just doesn't seem plausible, does it? If we are a result of a monkey and an alien, we'd be 50% of each parent. So we're 50% retarded and 50% superior intellect. That part makes sense to most people who believe in aliens because they typically believe aliens are far more advanced than we are. What doesn't make sense is...OK to most HUMANS, having sex with a monkey would be absolutely disgusting. You're telling me something SMARTER than us had the desire to mate with a monkey??

And evolution has not been proven any more than the creation theory has. Nothing has been proven either way because nothing ever will be proven either way, because none of us were there and the ones who were aren't here to tell us about it. The evolution theory only takes so much credit because many scientists back up the theory. But scientists are human and their personal beliefs do contribute to their work. If you have an atheist scientist they're going to use the evidence they have to fit their theory.

A good example is the methods scientists use to determine the ages of bones they find. They use carbon dating to estimate how old a bone is. They take into consideration things like how far down it was, how decomposed it is, etc. BUT if you actually read just the facts, the same facts that are used to say the earth is billions of years old could be used as proof by Christians that the Great Flood mentioned in the Bible happened, because a worldwide catyclysmic event like that would cause the same damage to the bone and would bury it about the same distance.

My point is that nobody knows. We just have raw facts and random theories.

Perhaps it's a combination of both... we come from apes genetically modified by aliens...
But who would do that? Who would mate with a monkey just to see what their babies would come out like?? Most of us find it reprehensible to sleep with a mentally handicapped person...

OK let me put it this way...survival of the fittest means that we are genetically programmed to try to mate with the most advantageous candidate. It doesn't make sense to breed with something that's going to retard your lineage...

I know but why would you do that? You want to breed with something that's going to make your offspring even stronger and better than you are, more able to survive. You don't want to make them worse off, that doesn't make sense.
