Mushroom grow shotgun box question

I work long hours, so it'll be very hard for me to mist and burp the box frequently throughout the day, a couple of ideas i wanna run by some people that have grown shrooms before:

do you think some some exhaust tubing hooked up to maybe a little PC fan would be adequete for sucking fresh air through the holes?

also, any advice on throwing a humidifier into the mix? maybe again through some tubing?

sorry about the extreme noob questions, going through forums, it seems noone talks about the very basic stuff enough, it's like everything i find is past the setup stuff and onto other stuff...

because growing mushrooms is much easier than growing weed. Do you not have anyone else around your house willing to help a good cause

Are you growing PF Tek cakes? And fruting them in a shotgun fruting chamber? Or a monotub type shotgun style tub. Either way a humidifier is not abad idea. If your doing cakes you should have some wet perlite on the bottom on the tub, and that should provide adequate humidity with the holes in the tub.
